Perko's Cafe - American restaurant in Modesto - 3500 Oakdale Rd, USA

The food I ordered was as expected and the Cafe had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Would bring anyone here for a late breakfast. Yummy!

I got the motherlode omelette and the pancakes they were ok. The service was great, and people were friendly, but i would not come back here for the food. Also the to go order looked dry and lacking.

Always a fav. Nice folks and good service . It’s nice to be back. As always post wherever your palate takes you or back to. Update: saw this this morning for todays special’ Homemade corn beef hash. I must try. It was okay, but in comparison to Black bear hash, it was definitely not as great as Bear. As always, post whatever your palate takes you.

A good atmosphere and good service. The food was good too. Some friends from church and I were able to talk and enjoy each other's company.

The sandwich I had was five star excellent. Bacon was super crispy and the avocados were a perfect addition this tasty meal.

Perko's is a place like back in the day, coming home to your grandma meal.The waitress Katie made my family feel like we were right at home. We had shrimps with seasoned fries for one meal, turkey and stuffing with a baked potato , fresh fruit. And the other meal we had a buffalo wrap that was spicy but good.

I met up today with Pastor John Mark, and we enjoyed some steak omelets at this lovely establishment. I've always been a fan of the Happy Steak brand, and when it turned into Perkos, I followed the trail. I am pleased that not every Perkos has turned into a Huckleberry's. I really love a good tri-tip you know nobody else in America eats tri-tip like the Central Valley does I mean every region has its own special cut you know that they go to but the Central Valley loves its tri-tip and they know how to cook a tri-tip to a delicious perfection and Perkos cooking is no different... I also had a cup of chili with cheese and onions, and it was incredible. If you are a fan of chili ...this one gets really thick without the crackers and was a delicious meal in itself. I could have totally had two bowls. Our server was very polite and patient with us while we had to deal with the emotions of the meat lovers omelet being stricken from the menu. She assured us that adding linguica and bacon to the steak omelet would give us a much better meat lovers omelet than previously sought after, and she was exactly right. 💯 Even though this is a corporate franchise, the small town mentality of Modesto has kept places like this alive and running and nostalgic... so remember to treat these kinds of places accordingly. Respectfully. Don't come in here acting like you don't know how to act.

The food is wonderful and the staff are very accommodating and attentive. I'm disabled so is my friend and they are always welcoming and friendly.
