Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - Restaurant in Tunkhannock - 615 State Route 6E, USA

I recently dined at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Tunkhannock and had a somewhat mixed experience, but I'd like to emphasize the positive aspects as well as the areas that could use improvement. On the plus side, the restaurant has an excellent location, and the quality of the food was quite good. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast options they offered. The staff at the beginning of our visit were extremely friendly and helpful, which added to our overall enjoyment. However, there was a notable hiccup during our visit when we encountered a staff member who was quite the opposite. Unfortunately, she seemed disinterested in their job, lacked a sense of responsibility, and even reacted poorly when we asked a question about our order before storming off. This created a jarring contrast to the friendly and attentive employees we had initially interacted with. Our table was left uncleared, and we had to wait a long time for our bill. It's important to note that it wouldn't be fair to judge the entire restaurant based on this single experience with an unfriendly and unprofessional employee. While I had my reservations about the service during this visit, I'd like to highlight that the location and food quality are definite strong points. However, there is room for improvement in the beverage department. They don't offer cappuccino, latte macchiato, or espresso, which I believe should be standard in most restaurants today. In summary, my experience at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Tunkhannock was a bit of a mixed bag due to the inconsistency in service. I'd recommend giving it a try, especially for their tasty breakfast options and great location, but be prepared for potential variations in service quality.

It's hard NOT to get the turkey dinner, and it's on the 55 Plus menu all year...everything is cooked perfect.

Stopped in after a long day and just have to say Rebecca was absolutely amazing. She was quick on her feet and very friendly, she was on top of everything from the drink refills to all the little extras I asked for with my meal. As a server myself I have high expectations, and could not have asked for a better server. You guys are lucky to have a server as wonderful as Rebecca I will defiantly be back thanks to her.

The service in this restaurant is the worst I have ever experienced. There were 3 different tables - 2 that were seated after we were where those customers were waited on while my party of 5 sat for over 20 minutes without the waitress taking our drink order or even acknowledging that we were even there. Needless to say we walked out and I can say we will never set foot in this restaurant ever again!

Dear Perkins costumer service it’s important!!I’m only giving a 2 star not because the food was bad the food was great actually but firstable there’s not air conditioning on this location it was very hot and on top of that I notice the servers were avoiding everyone by hanging in the kitchen!!! And the server look very unhappy working there she brought are food and never bother to come around to see if we wanted a beverage refill she ignored us to the point that I had to go up to the registers ask for the receipt and a plastic containers ...

A good time to go us between 3 and 5 pm--very few people. Our food and service was good. The new dessert, chocolate peanut butter drop, was incredibly thick and fudge-y, not fluffy, if you're feeling like something other than French silk pie.

Went here on a Monday night. We had an excellent waitress who took very good care of us, including our 2 year old. Food was very good, and reasonably priced, considering inflation. Place was very clean as well. Would recommend.

Met family for brunch. Excellent service, good food. Great menu sekection.
