Perkins is always my all time favorite all day breakfast spot . Their omelettes are the best with just the right amount of butter and fillings, fluffy making you crave for more. Butter milk pan cakes are the most lovely choices for super hungry stomach 😊. Coffee is on the costly end, so won’t recommend that but rest things are just fine with a little over the average price. Service is good, can be better. I visited on the Christmas Eve , service is on the slower than average side, so can totally understand that they were a little understaffed. They have been better in my prior visits.
We had the most amazing wonderful incredible meal at this fabulous Perkins.. the food was delicious, hot, served quickly. The server and manager were incredibly friendly and kind and caring. We went with a group of family getting today, and we will be back soon. Thank you for the superb experience. Very clean restaurant, inviting, warm environment. Bakery looked delicious. Thank you thank you!
This is a great place for small groups to get tougher. 6 or so of up meet every Friday morning. The staff is wonderful, they put us in a side dinning room, sometimes we share the dinning room with a 2nd group, but the room is large enough that we can carry on our own conversations. We have a great time to visiting , the food is wonderful, hot coffee. Many of the group will grab something from the bakery to take home as well.
I have enjoyed eating at many Perkins restaurants, but this visit was very disappointing. I will preface this with the fact that our visit started at 1:30 pm on January 1st, a holiday. Upon arriving, there was no hostess station to check in. We noticed a staff member look at a clipboard on top of the bakery display case. We inquired about checking in, and the manager came over to check us in. 15-minute wait for a table. We were seated after about 15 minutes. It was another 15 minutes before our server came to take our drink order. The menu was a shortened "Holiday" menu with a very limited selection. Since we knew what we wanted, we placed our food order at the same time. Our server apologized and said food was taking longer than normal right now. When she brought our drinks back about 10 minutes later, she again apologized for the delay on our food. About e ery ten minutes, she would stop by and apologize. Tables around us were noticeably agitated by the time for food to arrive. After waiting 65 minutes from the time we placed the order, our food arrived. It was hot and fresh, so that was a bright note. Our server offered us free pie or muffins due to the food coming out so slow. We declined and just paid the check. I understand restaurants are short-staffed these days. It appeared to be a kitchen staff shortage because there were plenty of servers around. Some were even using tables in the dining room as a refill station for salt, pepper, etc., which seemed odd considering how "busy" it was. Two tables near us had incorrect orders delivered and were told it would be at least 30 minutes to have new food made. I may seem petty, but I have to think management could have provided a better experience for customers by limiting the number of people who are seated in the dining room at one time. Seating people as soon as possible and then taking an hour to make their food is bound to upset customers. Our server was great, and we could tell she was uncomfortable having to apologize and tell us our food should be up soon. We did not receive a discount, and we gave our server a generous tip. I think the manager should have been making the rounds to the tables rather than leaving it to their servers to deal with this type of situation. An apology and explanation from a manager would have gone far instead of a server being afraid they're going to get yelled at by a customer for something completely out of their hands.
My mom and I had a late breakfast, and while our server was OK our food was one of the worst experiences we've had at any Perkins in Minnesota.
My bacon was undercooked and my waffle was blah. I did get my bacon to be recooked to be better, but it was not great.
My mom had it worse than me. She ordered an omelet and asked for it to be fully cooked so it wasn't runny in the middle, an English muffin, sausage links, and potatoes.
The omelet was not fully cooked, the butter changed the consistency of the muffin instantly, the potatoes were (in a bad way) unlike anything else, and our server forgot her sausage. We did eventually get the sausage, but it was not good and the damage was already done.
OK service mixed with bad food is a recipe for disaster. Only go if you don't care about what you order or how it's made.
The staff were really nice, Talia was my server and she was good, pretty quick.
Docked a star because the food wasn’t great. Fried pickles were beyond greasy. Chic Biscuit was below average as far as fried chicken goes... i guess you get what you pay for but burger king has better fried chicken sandwiches.
Our experience was excellent! Went here Thurs 2/10/22,around 5pm, I think. We weren't sure they were having sit down seating at this time. Our waiter, a young gentleman, was excellent, kind, efficient, quick, and our order was correct, even though I don't think he wrote it down? I got a freebie because I had a coupon via email. The strawberry cream cheese crispies star amazing! I know tmy pictures are of plates where the food is all gone, but it was sooo good! Magnificent 7 for my husband and pit roast for me!
The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. The food was alright, not great but fine. The sad thing is they are so understaffed it took an hour and 15 min to get our food and there were only 7 tables being used when we walked in. Please get these kind servers more kitchen staff.

This was such a fun experience. Any age would love it. It did not matter we had an odd number of people. They totally made it even. Our group had a great time. The host pictured and Amelia were awesome and it really felt like we were on a game show.

Had my nieces's birthdays here on a Sunday. Good basic party room which was really nice to have as it was extremely busy. Could bring a cake and water. Price was reasonable for a two hour window and ten wristbands. It's hard to keep an eye on kids th

They have a drinking fountain! Picnic tables and benches are also out in the open. They also have a playground with regular swings, a baby swing, slides, tunnels, a spinning ride that kind of looks like the tilt a whirl at the state fair, as well as
Very cool and retro strip mall on Highway 55. Throwback to the 50's and '60's. Nice variety of shops including Down in the Valley, one of the few remaining Radio Shack stores, a pet store, barber shop, liquor store, dry cleaners, and many others. Ple
