Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - Restaurant in Orlando - 6813 Sand Lake Rd, USA

I haven't had Perkins is SUCH a long time, so I was excited to visit them again. The food was all on point, you'd think people couldn't screw up breakfast; but they can - thankfully... this spot was perfect! All the dishes were delicious and the waitress was a sweetheart. Location is a little old; but it adds to the ambiance! Pricing is fair. Well worth the visit.

The food was delicious, as well as the general aura of the place. Our waitress was Wendy, her service speed and energy was amazing and we enjoyed our conversation with her.

All the food was amazing. The best breakfast food i've had in a long time. A lot of options to choose from on the menu and the bakery was a bonus. The pies are amazing I took one to go! I wish I had one of these in the town I live in.

I have eaten at plenty of Perkins Restaurants, BUT this one is BY FAR THE WORST!!!! First, their website, Yelp.and other social media sites said that they would be open until midnight. We got there a little after 11:00 (about 11:10 -11:15). A lady came by, as she was leaving and said "someone would be right with us". So we waited -- a couple of other people said something to the same effect. FINALLY after about 30+ minutes, someone did come up and tell us that the restaurant would only do takeout after 11;00. We told her we had been there since a little after 11:00 and no one is that. They had that FACT no where in the restaurant. My wife decided to get something to go. However, I didn't want to get anything. She WAITED and WAITED for her order!!! The first club sandwich that came out was burned. The second one was the SKIMPIEST "club" sandwich ever!!!! Club sandwiches usually have three pieces of bread. This place is HORRID.

The atmosphere is dated but it is inviting. Every time we come here the food is amazing. Today, I decided to get the corned beef hash breakfast. It was very tasty. The only thing I would've done differently was crisp the corned beef hash more. Other than that, it was very good. I can't wait until my next trip to Orlando to come back for more quality cooking.

I was vacationing in Orlando for a week and we decided to stop here and grab breakfast before making the drive back to Houston, all I’ve got to say was that it was worth it, the prices were cheap and the food did not disappoint. Everything was very delicious, our waitress was very friendly. When we come back to town we’ll definitely be coming here for breakfast.

Haven't seen a Perkins in a while so we had to do breakfast there for nostalgia sake. Great choice. We came back the next day before flying home. Breakfast was fantastic. I had Grandma's omelette the first morning and it was amazing. French toast the second morning and it was amazing as well. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes both mornings and was very happy. The service here was amazing. Our waitress remembered us from the first morning, even our conversations. Super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Fantastic!!

We really enjoyed the muffins and cinnamon buns for breakfast. They were the best cinnamon buns I have ever had. Freshly baked! There was too much icing for my liking but that is a personal preference. Our server Wendy was friendly and helpful. She also gave useful suggestions for our daytrip to the Space Center. You can tell that she truly loves her job. Thanks! The ambience is that of a home style diner.
