Been a while since I stopped in. They aren't doing dine in now. Not sure if it's permanent or not. As always the Philly was outstanding. This place has been a locals favorite for many many years. Only gave the 1 star since no dining in for the atmosphere.
Trust me! BEST cheesesteak I've had since Philly. We were at a bar in town eating another cheesesteak, when the bartender recommended we try Pepper's next time. I'm so glad we did. It was fabulous. Wish I had ordered several more. There is always tomorrow. ...
Cheesesteaks are okay but the staff is about the rudest I’ve ever come across. The woman taking orders acts like you are an inconvenience. There are better food choices in the area with people who appreciate your business. Won’t be going back.
I have been here twice now, always told good things about the restaurant. First time they were so rude, thought I might have caught them on a bad day. So I gave them a second chance, they are the rudest people in socastee never again will I go there I’ll take my business to socastee station.
I work nearby and always come here for lunch and sometimes dinner. Food is awesome and I easily rate them in the top three places to go for Cheesesteaks. Their onion rings are awesome and so is their sub sandwiches and ruebens. Pizza is really good too.
Never found any of the owners rude like all these reviews claim - usually the owners are busy as heck and don't have time to play games. Times I got to talk with them I found them pleasant. Tell them what you want and don't waste their time and you'll get what you want. If you have a problem with that then I suggest you don't go above the Mason-Dixon line to order food.
Also the price is more then fair for the quantity and quality of food you get.
Good news is they do have the Amorosa rolls, but that's about as close to a Philly as this cheeseteak gets. Beef certainly wasn't seasoned. I had high hopes! Miss a taste of home, but love it down here! People were super nice, but the front of house still looked like it was set up for Covid. Takeout only☹️
Food is great! No dining in, my assumption is because they don't like people.
You have to yell your order from across the restaurant instead of them coming up and asking you what you want.
The older brown haired woman with thick glasses is the rudest obnoxious person I've ever dealt with. Group of 4 people were behind me and as they were ordering she stopped them and said ok, they said we're not done, the lady says "well you ordered 4 things and there's 4 people so I don't understand" the customer said we got another person in the car 🤣
Great place for chicken or regular cheesesteaks! The macaroni salad is the BEST on the beach. Prices are fair and building doesn't look like much but try them anyways. You won't regret it!

Had a pepperoni and a meat lovers. Really well made and quality ingredients. The meat lovers could have used a little more meat, but that's subjective and I tend to lean towards being a "heavy on the toppings" kind of pizza guy so take that for what
The chicken alfredo pizza was very good and a bit of a more unique menu item. I even asked them to throw some extra Italian herbs on top and they fulfilled my request; that genuinely made me smile.
