Pepper Tree Inn - Hotel in Tahoe City - 645 N Lake Blvd, USA

Spent $200 on one night to NOT EVEN STAY THERE. Dropped off all luggage, came back at 10:30pm to getting locked out of our room. No key cards worked. ZERO workers on staff. No one would let us in after calling for hours. Had to stay somewhere else and find a ride there. Would not recommend to anyone.

Comforable, accessible, wise counsel not keeping food in the car because of the bears. Did not have breakfast because departed by civil twilight. Though street exposed it was quiet aand salubrious. Ease promenading along the lake before sunrise. Excellent restaurant suggestions. A robust, solid and serene motel cum hotel.

Very disapointed. We requested 2 bed room only had one bed. They gave us a roll away. Not comfortable at all. Towels left a lot to be desired. Had holes in them .One light on the wall was not connected and hanging from the wall. Toilet seat has paint missing. Lights keep flickering. The lady who checked us in seemed to be disinterested in correcting the reservation errors that they made. No a/c unit. Shopping and eating areas were good

We were on the 3rd floor, the view was good, the hotel location was great! Its near shops, bike rentals & restaurants, we recommend Zas it is lakeside (across the street). For breakfast Sids is a breakfast/lunch bagel shop. And Commons Beach all nearby. The hotel staff is excellent & clean rooms. There is an elevator however sadly there is no longer a hotel pool. Would recommend.

Beautiful, breathtaking views. Friendly staff. Nice spot in the middle of Tahoe city. Really no negatives. The place is a bit older and it looked like something died in the swimming pool (😏) 50 or so cable channels. 7 of them being HBO. Our shower would not produce hot water. So that made things interesting

Great deal! Prime location with views of the lake. Friendly service and room has everything you need. Everything worked. Honestly, a steal. Check-in was smooth. Room was ready. Text/email reminders about check-out (don't need to physically do). Just leave keys in room and leave.

Best best best hotel. Amazing and breathtaking views of the Lake Tahoe, very close to the downtown area. Location wise, very convenient. 20 mins away from the Nevada side of the Lake Tahoe. Very helpful staff. We got the best room with the jacuzzi and unobstructive views of Lake Tahoe.

I’ve stayed there for 2 nights. Nice TV and the view from the 5 th floor was awesome. But the centralize aircon was not working, there’s a electric fan though.
