Pepper Pod Restaurant - American restaurant in Hudson - 530 Fir St, USA

For a diner attached to a hotel, this place isn't terrible. It's dingy but clean, and feels close with the dark paneling. Or maybe that's cozy. They have several specialty omelettes, plus bacon/sausage, eggs, pancakes, and toast. I tried the Pod Omelette, featuring Mexican seasoned meat with cheese covered in green chili sauce. It was pretty good. Served with a side of hashbrowns and your choice of toast. It's a large portion, so you won't leave hungry. Server was attentive and kept the coffee cup full.

Stopped in for breakfast. We weren't disappointed. Large servings and very tasty. They have great local artifacts on the walls. Be sure to walk around when you finish your meal! Glad I did.

Great Home-Town atmosphere and cooking! We had a large group (16) and were able to get a reservation for the following day and all sat together. We were treated like family by the servers and had a very enjoyable time. Very happy this place is mid-way between all of our spread out families, and we will be back for sure!!!

We met up with friends for dinner and it was awesome. We have not been to the place in a very long time and forgot how great the Pepper Pod is. The food was better then I could have asked for and the portions were huge. I had a bone in ribeye and my wife had the roast beef. Both were perfect. The staff was friendly and our waitress was all over it. We will be back more frequently now that we live in the area. If you are looking for a great restaurant with plenty of options for everyone, then you owe it to yourself to try this place. I highly recommend it!

The Pepper Pod is the kind of restaurant where locals convene and visitors return time and again. Its wild west design merges flawlessly with an upscale cuisine. From perfectly fried Walleye to tender pork chops to the oh-so delicious chicken parmesan, not to mention their hot & ready soups of the day, I would find it difficult to believe that any customer does not have a favorite dish. Living in Brighton, where delightful restaurants are a stones throw from any point one stands, but the draw of The Pepper Pod forces us to drive up I76 to Hudson...time and time again.

I love the look, the place is real cute. The service is okay for the volume and capacity, but the fact that they always mess up food and don’t even give discounts or take the faulty item off the bill baffles me as someone in the service industry for over 15 years. The worst part is I have never had my food come out right. The hamburgers are always burnt with zero seasoning. The steaks over cooked consistently and one time my husband had a full out rancid steak. It was BAD…and he eats EVERYTHING. WE STILL were given the full bill expected to pay for it all. I’ve never had a dine in experience here where everyone eats TOGETHER which is so disappointing.

Had this for the very first time tonight. I ordered the New York Strip Steak, baked potato, fries and salad. This place is damn good. My steak was cooked to perfection and I forgot to tell them how I wanted it cooked. They did it 100% on point. I’ll be back ( the terminator).

I had stopped in to this restaurant only because I saw they had truck parking in their lot. Called to verify and yes, they allow overnight parking. What was most pleasantly surprising was the actual restaurant. I went inside to grab a quick bite to eat and quickly realized this was a very nice establishment with much more to offer than what I had envisioned. The food was very good and the service was even better. Definitely worth the stop.
