Flat and straight but nice for walking and biking. Parking: plenty Terrain: paved walking path, gravel Markings: it's a straight line Dog friendly: yes Elevation gain: none Length: you can walk all the way to the Delaware River if you want Tick risk: low if you stay on the path Poison ivy risk: very low if you stay on the path Peopleyness: moderate to high Natureiness: moderate Maintenance: great
Pennypack Trail is a fairly well maintained trail that runs through Montgomery county to the outskirts of Philly, most of the trail is gravel, with some paved sections. The Byberry lot is around 2/3rd mark, the northern path was well shaded, fairly peaceful. It runs through southampton and ends around Bristol Road. The southern route is a quite a bit busier, it ends around Shady Lane (Rockledge), it also runs along Pennypack Creek with some pretty scenic views. In total the trail is about 17-1/2 Miles, with about 300ft of elevation change (pretty minimal mostly 2%), definitely recommend in the morning to avoid crowds, but it was pretty good
Great park for walking, running, and riding!
A nice simple hike to go on with family. Moderately easy. Be sure not to miss the abandoned (?) house frame near the pond. It’s a bit hidden, but is good fun to explore. Met some nice people at the summit and discussed MTB and Spartan races. I’d do it again. There is also a really big and climbable tree when you come down from the top through the meadow.
Great section of the pennypack trail. I ride it a lot. Especially in the summer because it's shaded. Beautiful. The trail is fine crushed stone. It kicks up dust on the bike when it's dry so you have to clean your chain after a ride. Other than that it's great.
My favorite place for a walk with the dog. Beautiful to watch the seasons change the landscape if you go year round. Horses, bicycles, dogs, strollers, joggers, walkers all share the trail. Welsh Road entrance gives you a chance to go in either direction on a trail as wide as a road covered in small crushed rock. A lunch truck is setup on weekends across the street from the post office. Use Creek Rd entrance for a more rugged, more narrow walkway. Watch your step for broken or washed away asphalt.
Always a great bike ride. 6 trees down along the trail. still good ride
Penny Pack trail is super long, takes you along beautiful woods and across multiple bridges. I've been going here since I was a kid and will continue to go as long as I'm in the area.

I sent my 5 year old German shepherd to help with his confidence and to learn the basic. He was paired with Anastasia. She did a fantastic job and was very friendly and helpful. She has a passion for dogs and it really shows. I felt comfortable leavi
We went to a family show on a Saturday afternoon. We had family ranging from 6-84 years old. Everyone had an absolute blast! The magician kept the attention of the littlest with comedy and swift changes, while also entertaining us adults! The sm

My daughter's wedding was a dream come true thanks to this gorgeous venue & our wonderful coordinator, Allison, who helped us plan every detail to perfection. The big day was the best day in their lives. Thank you to the team that made this possible.

Very nice atmosphere, big windows, nice music, pleasant waitress, fresh meat patty on a burger made to order, fresh salad ingredients. Just a great local spot to have lunch or just come out for a drink or 2 or more.
I ordered through the app and when I got there, Cinder (sorry not sure how to spell her name) told me someone had taken my drink. Despite it not being her mistake, she happily remade my drink and went above and beyond to fix the situation!
