Penn Terrace Motel - Motel in Beaver Meadows - 1880 E Broad St, USA

Pros: hot shower & good Wi-Fi. Cons: The property is very old & rundown. The sheets & towels were stained & threadbare. The mattresses are worn out & offer no support. The floor was not vacuumed as there was debris & food on the carpet. No TV when it rains because the satellite service goes out. Some of the rooms are smoking so the sidewalk in front of the rooms is littered with butts. The area is also very noisy. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this property.

I was in a vehicle accident and this is where the tow truck brought me, I was hurting very badly ask them where the ice was so I could make an ice pack for my shoulder they said they did not have an ice machine. But they did give me four cubes of ice from their own kitchen.... Which lasted about 45 minutes. I went back and asked for more ice than they said they didn't have any. I tried to rent a car the next day they had none in this town to rent so I went back to the front desk as the gentleman there if I could stay in my room for a couple of extra hours until my ride could get here from Ohio. He charged me $65. The entire room was not but $88 for the night. These people are very rude and do not care about the people that stay in their rooms, all they want is the money. I will never come back here again and highly recommend no one else does

apparently some rooms are worn down but my bed was comfortable, room was clean and since I play rain audio when I sleep, the noise from the outside was minimal. I couldn’t turn on the TV with the remote but did not care for it. Not bad for the price and I didn’t feel unsafe. Nice people at the front desk.

Hotel is ok needs renovation and more staff. Beds are comfortable. Efficiency units need serious overhaul. Prices are ok but they need to add senior rates and aarp and AAA prices. Tv remotes work ok. ||House keeping doesn’t clean everyday like they are supposed too.

This is the most disgusting place you could possibly stay. I booked a room back in October for an overnight trip and it was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had. Do not trust the pictures that you see online they are not even close to what you’ll get. The room had bugs, mold, holes punched in the drywall and cigarette burns in the comforter The staff was very rude and talks down to you: The TV reception was horrible and had lines through the TV on every channel. If there is any positive reviews online they had to have been written by the owners or friends of the owners: if I could give it negative stars I would. Do not be fooled by a cheap price. I have since looked at other motels in the area and you can do much better for a just a little bit more money. Book a Motel 6 or red roof not that far away. Trust me you do not want to stay at Penn Terrace. I go away three or four times a year so I’ve been to my fair share of motels and this was by far the worst. I do not see how a place like this operates in 2017 in the United States.

This place did the job when all the other hotels in the area were booked or really expensive. It is old and worn. The bed was fine. The air conditioner is tucked in the back with the bathroom and didn't circulate cool air into the room very well.

I called and asked what cut off time to checkin is and he said anytime we are here 24/7 But when I showed up after midnight after dealing with traffic all day He charged me full price on my prepaid room because it was so late We were exhausted and paid it Then we had loud people in room next door! When we called and asked about moving to a different room clerk responded...you shouldn't complain THEY ARE FROM NY too!! What the hell?!
