It's a small quaint park. Great for small walks, bbqs, glamour photos, and pets. Small trail and water fountain/ pond. More than enough parking availability with manicured gardens and patios and open air park bbq and benches. For quick training, I only recommend sprints of 200 m to 400 m around the park. Great small inclines for strength workouts . The best score would be 3.5 to 3.9. Too mad it's too small but for community events .
Very nice park. I wasn't able to go through the whole park cuz I had a stroller. I didn't know there there a lot of stairs. Next time I'll be prepared. There are a lot of nice spots for pics.
Peaceful park, quiet, has a playground for kids, one regular swing and one toddler swing with the shoulder straps, and a beautiful green area. It’s a nice place to chill or to have a picnic.
Very nice calm clean park nice playgrounds lots of benches for lil party bathrooms there is even a lil water play area nice lil walking trails
Beautiful little park. Great for a photo shoot. Although there are so many rules for this park. As soon as you walk up to the park, you'll notice a wide range of rules signs posted at every entrance. No animals allowed, all wedding and party photo shoots must have permits, no guns (what the?), and so on. I give the park a four star just because it's so pretty. Restrooms are clean. Lots of picnic tables all placed in a cement location under NO shade. Maybe it's because they were doing some work on the park. Location is right next to the Athens dump site. So you'll notice dump trucks driving by. Wish they would allow walks around with fur babies. It seems that Whittier is NOT dog friendly.
Such a beautiful park that I will returning to very soon. The man-made creek or stream transcends you to the mountains or another country. This is short video of the location by the bridge near the restrooms.
i had this specific park saved for a while and was finally able to visit. we parked on the north end and made our way inside through the waterfall and i instantly really liked it. there were a bunch of people having lunch, doing yoga and just enjoying their time outside. this is an awesome, quiet and secluded park. if you're thinking of visiting you definitely need to stop here for a while.
Beautiful park..... Very open space, great for the kids to run around... Super quiet. Wonderful place for a picnic. Great place for the family. It's always looking clean. A lot of squirrel's. Everyone usually keeps to themselves. Quite peaceful for a change. For being a park & public place the restrooms are really clean. I wouldn't recommend using it, but if you have too, you can do so with somewhat of a peace of mind. But the toilet paper sucks. It's those tiny piece by piece individual square pieces of toilet paper, so unreliable. I have three little girls and I make them go before we leave home. It's a beautiful park, peaceful. Well recommend. Great place to take pictures. With the hot weather, it's really nice to sit in the shade and enjoy the breeze.
Exquisite place, excellent for healthy walks; green bushes and trees every where; playgrounds, pools, wow!! you'll find the best environment !! for you and your family...
I love the Michigan Park that's named after the street where I used to come with the community group playing fun games and eating BBQ meals with hot dogs and hamburgers. It's nice and lots of fun!
This park is really big. Lots of free grass area for the kids to play on. They have a little zoo for the kids to see. The playground is nice except for the currently broken big slide. A little muddy in the winter time, but its a great park.
I previously joined The Bakery about a year and a half ago and It was the best decision Iâve ever made for myself. The amount of comfort and support this gives provides will truly motivate you. The ladies are amazing and Coach D is one inspiring in
Zero Givens will continue to be my #1 gym. I had took a long break from working out and even started to gain weight and felt sluggish. So I decided to join a 3 week challenge and like my previous 3 week challenges I have done here, Iâve had amazing
I have been going to CrossFit Whittier for three months now. Itâs changed my life, my attitude and my body. Iâm stronger and the WODS (workouts) replaced a lot of useless fat with muscle. On top of that, itâs a terrific community of great peo
Highly recommend this location if you're serious about enrolling your child in Taekwondo. Professional and friendly, super clean facility, and I love all the windows so I can clearly see my son while he's at his lesson. My son has Autism and I'm bey
Such a friendly staff and such delicious food! My sister and I got carne asada nachos with beans and it was one the most flavorful nachos that Iâve had for a while. The meat was so tender and flavor and paired so well with the pickle onions. The bu
My kids elementary school band performed there this evening. Nice little theater. You can see pretty good from just about any seat. I parked in the library parking lot right across the street... Don't know if it's allowed or not, but I did and didn't
Treat yourself to Local Fixture's Coffee & Tea, honestly. The building itself is very warm in the summer but their cold drinks are refreshing and tasty. Definitely give your phone number for the rewards at the coffee counter, i love getting their te
Amazing sushi spot in a centralized part of Whittier. Love the family feel it has and will definitely be coming more frequently. No set omakase menu like I like it!
Jenny's has been a special breakfast place for many, for many years. I was so thrilled to have a morning time that I was able to drop in for biscuits & gravy. My #3 son ordered a Mexican breakfast which he ate everything. Jenny's is the hometown type
A gem coffee and liquor shop in a chill neighborhood. - Vibe: ample space with limited seating. - Shelves of wine and liquor and infused coffee. - To go or dine-in? This is not a place to rush in and out, it took 10 min at least to order and get the
