Pendleton Pump - Bar in Temple - Southerland Rd, USA

Nice little small bar where you could just hang out with a couple or 3 ove your friends. Does not open till around 2pm or when the owner gets thir.

I helped my friends rebuild and open the pump back in the 70's. I worked behind the bar. Saw some great bands from Austin play here. We even got a write up in the UT paper. When the band took a break everyone would walk across the street to the abandoned building and light up a doobie. It was a good time in my life. Hello Victor...former owner.... if you read this.

This place is LIVE! They have a great atmosphere and good music! It's a great place to go shoot some pool and throw darts! I'm excited to go back and hang out! The owner and his son are friendly and fun too!

This bar is the last of the small town hole in the walls... If you ain't experienced it yet... You need to before it's gone with the rest. Great place!! Great people!! Lots of fun!!!

A little hole-in-the-wall bar and the people are always so chill. The owner Roy is a great guy! And there's a DJ every Saturday and Sunday. Everybody knows your name...just like the old time show "Cheers".

The place is a little run down but prices are pretty good, and there were complimentary sausages for the patrons. I was there for 8 ball league. The pool tables are not in great condition, but are playable. There is a wall behind one of them which interferes with shots, however there are short sticks available to help with this.
