I spent 7 years at this park several times a week. The playground was fun and it was a nice mix of the playground area and the swing and the spring rockers. It’s the only park in the area with a teeter totter. My kids loved playing in the fields as well and there’s a small hill they’d ride toys down from the tennis courts. I played tennis often here (cracked and not great courts) and pickleball as well with chalk lines.

Excellent park in the Nonantum neighborhood of Newton. They have the Italian Festival, Amusement Park rides, and a fantastic sports camps for the kids. And there is great indoor basketball court on site too.
Don’t use “Pellegrini Park Playground” for your GPS, just put in Pellegrini Park, otherwise, it’ll take you to a dead end with no parking if you include “Play Ground.” Huge soccer field, a tennis court, a basketball court and a descent playground. No restrooms though.
Nice Day! In honor of Saint Mary. Italian Festival, Amusement Park rides and games, Lots of food and a good Band. Enjoyed it!
grew up at this park. even graffitied my initials on a wall when I was younger. will always love the murals on the back & side brick walls. never miss the carnival that's there every 2nd week of July.

Beautiful reserve area with wildlife. Water very shallow at many parts. The narrow western entry to Cow Island Pond was not deep enough for a kayak to pass. Your trip may end earlier than you planned. More a place to enjoy the wildlife than a paddlin
