10/10 stay. We have been here before so I can say that the rating is confidently consistent. The rooms are clean, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The beach and boardwalk are within walking distance (we brought the wonderfold for the kids and their things) and all local places deliver food there without a problem. Fridge and microwave in the spacious roons. The pool is clean and private, full sun the whole time. We truly had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go again. There’s no place in point with this kind of family feel.
Denise was awesome. I stayed there twice over 7 days. Rooms were clean and roomy. Great location and walking distance to the boardwalk. Not a far drive to Manasquan where I spent most of my time. Rates are reasonable. Pool is clean. This place is solid. Hope to be back soon. !!!
I picked this hotel because of the good reviews. The room was clean, big and quiet. The only thing is that the pool is not heated 😞 I will definitely return! 😀
You missed an opportunity to be reviewed by me. I am a Level 5 Reviewer on Google maps. Thanks for the refund. Every blessing going forward.
The rooms had a smell of mold which we found out was do to the furniture, the dresser was full of mold, we couldn’t put our clothes in it. The nightstand also reeked of mold. The bathroom had no ventilation so you can only imagine how that smelled. They charge guests for the beach passes! They charge 1/2 price but we shouldn’t have been charged at all. WE will definitely NOT be back!
I absolutely loved it, super nice staff, really sweet front desk lady. The rooms were super cute and clean, the location is like a 2 min walk down the street to the beach and 2 min walk into town and in a nice neighborhood. I’d recommend this hotel to someone who is planning a vacation in point pleasant
We stayed here for two nights in September. We picked it based on location, but would certainly consider staying again if we needed to be in the area. It was very pricey for a one-star hotel, but on par with the area. The room was quite old, and some things are starting to fall apart, but the bed was comfortable, we were easily able to make it cooler/warmer, and the TV had plenty of channels. It was fine. We appreciated that a fridge and microwave were included. There were ample towels, washcloths, soap, etc. Free parking.||||I’d say the only annoying part was check-in and check-out. Despite their advertised opening hours, it was closed at 7 PM when we were checking in, and then also at 10:30 AM when we were checking out. I gather they have staffing shortages, but it would’ve been nice to have been informed. We had to phone their “emergencies” line for both check-in and check-out as there was no indication of what to do. They had also misplaced our reservation, but it sounds like that was more Expedia’s fault. Anyway, we got in, and the staff member who helped us was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here to attend Sea, Hear, Now in Asbury Park. So, really we were just sleeping. We had a 2 room suite(I use that term lightly). There were 6 of us ladies. Thank goodness we aren't high maintenance because outlets were hard to find. Clearly a sign that when remodeling was done they did not take into consideration placement of beds, dressers, nightstands, etc. So, yes, the floor was new and there was a fresh coat of paint, maybe some of the furniture was "newer" but one of the twin beds was just a cot really. And it was clean so I will give them that. But, like I said, not many outlets, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, the sink in the "kitchenette" area did not work, the lighting was terrible(too dark even with every light on), the pillows were huge and lumpy(seemed old), refrigerator was tiny, anyhow you get the picture. The office is only open when the women who runs the place feels like being there. You mostly have to text her to see if she is available. The ice maker did not work(after searching for it); there was a soda machine and a candy machine(that only had about 5 choices, most spots were empty). We were within walking distance of the train which worked for us because all we were doing was sleeping and showering there. If you are looking for an experience this is not the place, if you are looking for a cheap, clean place to lay your head this place fills the bill.

Family day on the boardwalk! Seeing family and great grandma wanted to bring the girls to the same place she went to when she was a kid. As someone from Texas I only knew of soft serve in vanilla or chocolate, so this was a cool treatâ¦. Literally
