HORRIBLE. Unaware that it was smoking.. our room was non smoking but still reeked. Shady people hanging out in the parking lot and noticeably staring at us. No ice machine, ac, microwave or fridge. Had a community kitchen but I did not trust to leave my daughter’s bottles in there. 2 inch gap on the bottom of the hallway door. Door was a cheap wood. Didn’t even stay the night. Went to get a refund and they caused a huge fuss over it. false advertising on Expedia because it did not say it was a smoking building.

The good: it was cheap place to stay, and the location is wonderful. However, the rooms are pretty gross and unclean. We brought our own sheets, and were happy we did. When I approached the front desk asking if they had disinfectant wipes so I could clean up the room a little bit on my own, I was denied and told to buy some at a gas station. They also place smoking rooms next to nonsmoking rooms, causing the smell to carry between the rooms easily, and seep into your own things.

Totally lacking amenities. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no elevator, no handicap rooms. we had a lamp in the room, it wasn't even plugged in, why? No bulb!! We used the phone to call the front desk, got a dial tone, pushed the "O" button and were hung up on....three times. We were just trying to access the "free" wi-fi, which we never were able to use. Granted the room was very cheap, but we left after one night.

Stayed there while working out of town, stayed for a week and paid extra for a room with a kitchenette, because the room we booked was supposed to have two double beds but they were singles and my boss is 6'5” tall and half his body hung off of the bed and the new room had no TV in the living room where the pullout couch bed was, the maintenance guy came after I called about an hour later and said he'd be right back to install a box for TV but never returned, so no TV all week, then we booked another room for the weekend and had to cancel for work, had to return to Wisconsin, but they wouldn't give us any kind of refund even know every hotel in the area is booked solid every weekend. All about the money and not about what the customer or client needs. Is give it a quarter of a star or none. Terrible customer service! Unfortunately it's the only girl you can find a room in this vacation season! Good luck

We have been staying here every July for 5 years, we have never had a problem until this year. I called to discuss this with the manager, it took 4 days of calling during ever shift to finally speak with her, we had some issues during our stay. I was requesting a refund for only one of the nights we stayed as the water was not available meaning we could not shower, use the toilet, wash our hands etc. when the manager called me back, she accused me of stealing dishes and silverware from the kitchen in the suite. I am highly disappointed in how she handled this situation. Mainly because she accused me and my fiancé of stealing from the kitchen. If I knew who the owner of narveson management was, I would be calling them.

My daughter and her husband and children stayed here. My daughter woke up one morning from a nap and found her pillow coated in thick course dog hair. My grandson also got cut from a piece of glass that was just laying on the floor by the chair. When management was notified they proceeded to tell my daughter there was nothing they could do about it. Very rude management and service. They tried giving my daughter and her family hell over the service dog my daughter needs for her seizures! Will never stay here again and cancelling all future reservations as we have family that comes from out of state to stay here! Highly disgusted!!! What happened to these places 😔

The hotel is getting kind of run down. The wallpaper was falling off the walls and we had a lot of ants. But they are always willing to help when you have an issue. The tv wasn't working and they sent someone right away. We asked for more towels and got them right away too. Even with the negatives I will still stay here every year.

Dirty room (I had to clean it - even the light switches were dirty), uncomfortable bed and pillows, AC didn't work well, no towel rack for wet towels, no luggage rack or anywhere to hang clothes, urine on the toilet, stains on carpet and curtains, shower curtain not fully hung on the holders, no blow dryer or mini fridge, no wifi password on the written instructions so I was unable to access it and work the first night, smoking rooms next to the non-smoking rooms so all of my items smelled. The toilet in my room was broken, as was one of the door locks, and it took them 2 days to fix both, even though I was assured it would happen right away. The Hotels.com and Expedia listings are WRONG - there is no outdoor pool and the indoor pool is 1/4 mile away, and they do NOT follow COVID cleaning protocols, as confirmed by the front desk manager. When I called and spoke to the manager about my concerns, and to request a partial refund because of their incorrect listing (I stayed there specifically for the 2 pools they claimed to have) and condition of the room, she told me that I should have given housekeeping the opportunity to fix the issues with the room and that I could leave if I was unhappy. I DID give housekeeping the opportunity to clean the room...that was supposed to happen before I checked in at 10 PM - no way could I wait until the following day. The property is old, dated, run-down, and didn't feel safe to me as a woman staying there alone. If you don't mind a dirty room and no comforts, stay here. If you want a comfortable bed and a place to relax at the end of a long day, I strongly suggest that you go somewhere else.
