It was not clean .rooms were a nice size but the ppl who run it were rude.WiFi never worked

FILTHY AND DISGUSTING. PROVIDENCE HOUSE USES THIS TO PLACE BATTERED WOMAN AND FAMILIES. THE PELICAN HOTEL IN TOMS RIVER IS TRAUMATIZING AND SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. NOTHING ABOUT IT IS SAFE CLEAN OR DISCREET. MY KIDS COULDN'T EVEN STAY HERE !!

Very quiet and peaceful environment. You get a nice warm ocean breeze close to ocean so it’s cooler at this location. The rooms are large with TV, microwave, refrigerator, area table for a meal and closet to store clothes! Great price! They’re not out to scam you! Hotel management are professional, kind and accommodating. I’ve been to other places that made me want to sleep with one eye open and left. I felt very safe in this location that’s literally right next to the seaside heights bridge. People in neighboring rooms were considered. No crazy parties, no drugs etc This lodge is perfect for beach goer’s, those visiting who want to enjoy their stay at the shore and return to a place they can kick back, relax and get a good nights sleep to do it all over again!

These people are absolute horrible inhuman unclean nasty individuals. I do not suggest anyone stay here. You will witness paraphernalia on the ground around the property. They do not clean their sheets or towels properly if at all. Their facility is leaking and also into their electrical room that smells incredibly horrible in his full of flies. There is the potential for exposure to mold and has not situations including and not limited to blood splatters on the wall blood splatters under the mattresses that have only been treated with bleach. If you have children he will harass you and your children because the owner Victor likes to Target women and children but for some reason not men. Not only that if you have children they will be repetitively instigated and harassed for simply being children and playing outside. He will threaten to evict or remove you from the hotel if you allow your children to play outside. Victor the owner thinks that he can approach and speak to anyone any way he pleases and he acts in an intimidating and aggressive fashion unless you put a camera in his face. Not only that they price gouge entrap and harass people on a regular basis. Do not waste your time or your money at this hole. ♥️

Stay here in the room was infested with ants! And I'm not talking about one or two Ants I'm talking about hundreds told the workers and they came in and checked the room and told me "It must be because of the humidity buy some ant spray and spray around the windows" all the food that I had had to be thrown away. Also they did not once during any point bring any type of towels toilet paper anything whatsoever. Had to buy my own ( which I am okay with but still) Says free Wi-Fi but they turn off the Wi-Fi at their convenience they also spend the majority of the day watching every little thing that you do and if they don't like something they come and knock on your door whatever time just to tell you about whatever it is they had a problem with. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Also you would think that because I came in with kids they would have given me the room that had a stove but no people who came in alone got the rooms with the stones and the people that came in with children or bigger families were in rooms that just had microwaves which I thought was crazy.

ZERO stars for this place! I was placed here by an organization for domestic abuse survivors, and these are the kind of places the system shuffles us around in. The AC/heating unit hasn't been cleaned in YEARS! It's full of mold and filth. Within 12hrs of being here, I developed a cough due to the filth and mold in the unit. When I brought it to the office's attention, his response was, "There's no mold." He didn't even look. I have plenty of video to prove it is. The place is infested with ants. Lost all my food due to the ants infesting my food bag, which had sealed items in it. The ants found their way into sealed containers. The hotel's idea of fixing a cracked toilet is to throw some duct tape on it. They seem to have the "Let's just throw a bandaid on it instead of taking preventative and required measures." mentality. Stabbed myself with the staples they used to "make curtains". I'm praying to God no dirty drug addicts stabbed themselves with the same staple like I did while fixing the curtain. Now I gotta worry about aids, hep c, and lord knows what else. And they are advertising that they have brand new rooms, which is bs. Turns out that the owner of this place (Vic) is either in denial, or he refuses to admit to the problems in this hotel. He’s a male chauvinistic pos with ZERO respect for women due to his culture looking down on women, which is a HUGE trigger for us domestic abuse survivors. He picked the right American bitch to mess with though! He’s a hypocrite that can drop f-bombs but I can’t? He told me to lock my dog and cat up before he came in to look at everything I complained about because “He’s allergic”. Ironic, because I’m allergic to mold. So it’s ok for me to sit in this moldy filled hotel, but I have to lock my animals up because HE’S allergic? He refused to look at anything and just argued the entire time without hearing my complaints. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise because he wouldn’t allow me to speak. GAME ON!!!! Welcome to America where the women have rights (the 1st and 14th amendment), a mouth to back it up and a bigger set of b**** than you’ll ever have. I’ve called the NJDOH, the DCA, the division of codes and standards, the bureau of housing inspection, News 12 New Jersey, Kane In Your Corner, AND my lawyer. Good luck keeping your business and avoiding the repercussions of being a negligent slumlord. It’s people like him that take advantage of the system and the less fortunate. Don't waste your money. We stayed here for a weekend with our little dog and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it turned out to be with very affordable rates. Everything has been renovated and our microwave even still had the twisty tie on the chord! We didn't find a single bug in this place and the staff was very accommodating to my mother's needs. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a place to spend a night or two at a good price. And in case you're wondering we got our security deposit back without any issue.

There's nothing suite about this place, the towels were terrible, the wifi didn't work, the pads on the bed were called pillows, the remote didn't work, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, no coffee pot, and the manager and sign said new rooms! All for $150 for the one night I stayed. Unfortunately the fog was so thick that I wasn't seeing clearly, and booked a room. $20/night would be about right. Actually a tent would be cleaner. Stay away from this place
