So neat! A great fishing place! The shop here has a white board that keeps tabs on how many fishes in total has been caught throughout the day! They sell all kinds of trinkets, including shark teeth. The big ones are $200 dollars each, the semi big/small are $50 each, and the smaller ones are $10 dollars each. If you spend over $50 dollars, you get a free bag from them.
Great spot to have a beer on the pier. It was decently priced and had an excellent view being on the top floor. It was open air with plenty of seating for people. A good spot to relax and watch the water or people fishing off the pier.
Terrific beach bar in top of pier 61. Nothing better than a cold drink perched over the gulf.
A storm was passing by and the gulf was energetic 8.2023
Amazing views and the bloody Mary’s are yummy ! Daneta was sweet and one of my favorite bartender the pickled Michelada was a win!! Relaxing and the sunset is amazing so magnificent so you need to stay for that. we will come back in the summer.
This is by far one of my favorite spots on the island. I always stop by to see if "my bartender" Dneta is working. This is the perfect place to sit and unwind while taking in the best view anywhere. It's fun, vibrant and friendly, exactly what I look for in a bar.
On the island for a little evening out, a friend from Houston recommended Pelican and The Shark for a drink and great sunset views. Beautiful view of the moonrise as well!
We were greeted by D’neta who was super hospitable and made us feel like old friends or regulars even though it’s our first time here. Drink are not overpriced and the patio is cozy and not crowded on a Sunday night. Highly recommend if it’s your first or your hundredth time in Galveston!
I took my 2 and 4 year old boys to Galveston for a few hours (we live in Houston). They only charged $1 per child for access to the pier and the 2 employees inside the bait shop/ store were so incredibly kind to the kids. They also helped me when I had a line that was knotted up. The people on the pier fishing were also really nice; one of them caught a black fin shark and let my kids touch it before they released it. We will be going back!
I simply loved this place!!! You can feel the soft breeze of the sea… the drinks are simply great and the bartender is amazing and very kind.. me and my friends went to celebrate my bestie birthday and we had an awesome time 💗

Had a great time here while my ship was visiting. Many great bars in Galveston Texas but this one was quite convenient for foot traffic. Live bands, playful but direct bartenders. Always had a good time does get crowded on a hot Saturday night so i
Very chill vibe. Plenty of outdoor space. The bartender, Cheryl, made the experience great. She was incredibly attentive despite being busy and seemed to genuinely enjoy bartending. It was one of my best experiences with a bartender. I will definitel

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and needed a spot to watch some NFL football (GO CHIEFS!) and eat some good food. I am SO happy this place came up on my Google search. The hospitality shown to us was above and beyond. We got to try Vie

Such a hidden gem in this ghost town.
Not crowded during the prime time such as big city gym.
Smell the ocean when you are slaying your workout!
Nice, old school, iron maiden environment.
One of the most welcoming gyms Iâve ever been to. Great mix of beginner and more advance class and the coach is a roll model for even the most experienced grapplers. Island grappling academy goes down in my books as a have to go to when in Galvesto
Last night my daughter and I took this tour with Al and it was a great experience. He told us so much of the history of buildings as we walked and took pictures. It is evident that he has a passion for history and for Galveston. Canât wait for our
Date night with the misses and made a reservation one week prior. Reservation for two at 5 p.m., and we arrived 15 minutes early approximately. We got a parking spot in front of the restaurant and paid the parking fee with our telephone. It was 95-pl
The atmosphere is very welcoming! The service is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast tacos were an amazing choice to get a good start for the day and the mimosa were equally as filling! Highly suggested to try this location for all my fellow foo
We really enjoyed our stay 6/10-6/12.
Host Renee and her husband(Robert -I think) were amazing and very welcoming. Together they prepared 5 star breakfast cuisine you would expect to find in a gourmet eatery. The house was very charming and full of
