Amazing stay at the Pelham!! Stayed with friends and there was plenty of space for all of us. Loved the upstairs/downstairs layout , private bathrooms and downstairs half-bath. The living room was comfortable There was on site parking and the location was so convenient. I cannot wait to stay here again!
We had the best weekend, and everything - from correspondence, check-in, inquiries, to check-out - was fantastic. Hunter was on that weekend, and he was extremely communicable and helpful. You cannot beat the location of Pelham Court, walkable to all shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The room was a perfect size, the bed was comfortable, and it's always nice to have a full kitchen. It was wonderful that our dog could join us, and she was so welcomed. We will definitely stay here again and again! (The courtyard is full of charm and can't wait to see it in the Spring/Summer!). The Pelham Court Hotel is from now on our home away from home in Newport. It's absolutely wonderful - if I could rate it 10 stars I would. The location can't be beat, the staff were excellent and helpful, and the suite itself was amazing. We have stayed at other hotels that offered suites but none were like this! A full compartmentalized kitchen, toasty fireplace, well-appointed living area and spacious bedroom made us feel as though we were in our own cozy apartment. The bathroom was huge (two sinks!), there was a pleasant fountain in the courtyard area, and parking was a breeze. Add to that the reasonable rates and the fact that the hotel is literally steps away from the downtown area? I rarely am overly impressed by where we stay but the Pelham Court Hotel wowed me. It will forever be our go-to spot in Newport. Highly, highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our pup and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were more than great and the location was exceptional. We stayed in the one bedroom suite and I'd love to return again. It was a no contact check in through text which I liked and text communication throughout our staff if we needed anything. Staff always responded promptly and were friendly if we saw them around the property. We had a lovely gas fireplace in our room and a full kitchen. The shower was fabulous, with a nice deep tub if you want to soak! The high ceilings were also a major plus!!
We had a reasonably nice stay at this Newport property. It's very busy and popular because it is close to downtown, so be sure to reserve way ahead if you want to stay here. The staff is great and very accommodating and thoughtful to check in and see if you need anything before they go off duty for the evening. This was much appreciated and it is done by text so is not intrusive at all. We had a nice one bedroom suite, but unfortunately got the one without a fireplace, which would have been nice on a cold, rainy afternoon for ambience (the heat otherwise was fine). Only complaint about the furnishings would be the uncomfortable breakfast bar chairs. We ate out most of the time even though the kitchen was ample. The seating was not. We tried to use the space to work at a computer and it was very difficult. A shorter table would have been nicer to have. Some rooms on the website show a couch and a chair, but this one had only a couch. Lastly, expect the parking to be crowded and the spaces small. As a handicapped person, it was very challenging to navigate my walker around the car. All in all though, we would recommend this lodging especially for the convenience of its location.
1 Night Stay in November on a Weeknight
We didn't spend much time at the Pelham Court Hotel, but the convenient location, courteous staff, generous room sizes, covered parking and ability to text the employees were fantastic. You are half a block from the strip with tons of restaurants and shops so you don't need to get in your car to go eat. There is a carport with covered parking which we were able to take full advantage of (perks of coming in the offseason) with additional off-street parking behind the building. They send texts to keep you in the loop and if your room is ready before 3pm, they will text you and let you know, as well as detailed instructions for access should you opt to skip the front desk or arrive after check-in. The room we stayed in was large, clean and cozy. The gas fireplace was nice with the temperatures outside being sub 30°F, and they also had central air to control the room temperature. The kitchen came stocked with glasses (cups, champagne, wine), plates and silverware, and had a full fridge and freezer, and dishwasher. It would have been comfortable to stay here for a couple weeks, let alone just one night. The room was stocked with plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and tissues so that nothing would be an inconvenience. The bed was clean and so was our bathroom. The windows open also so if you want a breeze, that's always an option too. Our room had 2 televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, and you can log into your streaming services if you would like. We just opted to find the "freebee" streaming service rather than signing in or finding cable.
I truly have no complaints or regrets with this hotel and would definitely come back in the future. Rates are extremely reasonable in the offseason. They are also dog friendly.
Another note: Hunter was fantastic with making sure our arrival was smooth by texting information in advance like where to park, access codes, room location, etc, and then checked in on us before heading out to make sure we had everything we needed for the evening.

The rooms are large and it feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel.
The hotel is older of course, which makes it very charming, but it comes with a smell and other quirks (poor flushing toilet, open windows, broken door, etc.) For the cost, I expected something a little more well maintained (not in regard to cleanliness as it was VERY clean).
Overall, we had an easy, comfortable stay and would recommend the hotel.
