Peghorn Nature Park - Park in St Cloud - 2101 Peghorn Way, USA

Pretty park. Some trails were closed and some were very muddy. Nice historic buildings. Lots of picnic areas. Playground and restrooms nearby.

Nice small Nature Center in St. Cloud. Many things to offer like a Community Garden, Old School house with furniture of the times. An old canning Factory, hiking trails, three Boardwalks and an old Pier over water of a retention pond. Many benches along the trails to sit relax and maybe see animal life like Raccoons, Rabbits, or maybe a Turtle or two. Community Building has Bathrooms, water fountain and Conservation Staff to talk to about Nature. Many donated antiques stored inside main room. Hiking trails are a bit ruff as far as could be muddy and you may have to walk on planks or tree trunks laid down to make them more passable after rain. Trails are well kept by Staff. Bring your own drinking water bottle or a re=fillable bottle to fill at the water fountain in Community Center. I enjoyed my hike around the Orange Trail. Keep enjoying the outdoors. No fee to get in, and free Parking for a few cars.

Really nice, relaxing place with a lot of history! The trail is closed right now due to recent flooding. Can't wait to go back and walk the trail! Nice place to just go and sit in the quiet of nature.

Perfect place to getaway for a couple hours. Short trails, small wetland, benches, & plenty of shade. There is also a historical school house that was fun to look at. One of St. Cloud's hidden oases.

This is an awesome Park out of the way nobody knows hardly about it but it is a very natural walk with different items that are from the old time in St cloud Florida a lot of things to go check out pictures you can take you can see old star antique stuff that used to be in St cloud I went there several times and now my grandkids have gone there and they had a great time they had a blast there's a nature trails and everything else that you can walk through I suggest you take a walk through there and check it out this is Johnny from adventures with the riveras going on to my next adventure

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Thanks city of St. Cloud for keeping this gem in pristine conditions.All buildings are intact like you travel to the past. We're definitely coming back.

My daughters and I LOVED this Park. The welcome center is a trove of resources, including free seeds for wildflowers, veggies, helpful booklets for gardeners of all levels, and WAY more. Move on to the garden patch, complete with compost piles; a school house from the early 1900s, a canning house, picnic area, education center, two different nature walks and, again, WAY more. Scout troops apparently visit here often which is cute to see their little plaques as you walk through the trail. Two different trails to trek. Also, not “in” this park, but just a little further down on the same side of the road is a decent conventional playground as well.

Didn't know this was even here and what a surprise!! Beautiful nature trail. Lives being able to relax and take in nature. And the schoolhouse from the 1880s along with lots of other nostalgic buildings was unremarkable! We lived it!!
