Not much here anymore..almost just a place to go walk around but it's clean and not ever really busy
The mall itself is somewhat dwindling down to very few places. However, the particular area (the shopping center) has quite a few variety of places to eat and shop. Makes it easier to stay in a specific area when you have several choices for all your needs. From groceries to clothing to electronics and even get some items for your pets!
Sad to see this once beautiful fully occupied mall in it's current state. Security was always an issue here, like many malls. A great new anchor store would sure be nice. @cityofmo roe, what help can be provided here?
Was currently visiting the mall with my son who has tourettes. While there he has a tendency to put his hood on from his hoodie. He was stopped multiple times by the same security officer and told he couldn't wear his hood. After leaving from asking my son to remove his hood the officer left and walked right past 2 other kids wearing hoods walking around without parents. The officer did not stop or say anything to these other kids. (The officer and the other children are of a different ethnicity than me and my son). When I approached the officer and said something to him about it he told me that he didn't say anything to the other children because their hoodies were red and not black and that people wearing black hoodies with their hoods on is offensive and against the code of conduct with the mall. I told him that didn't make any sense and that he needed to correct the situation and say something to the other children and I turned to walk out of the mall. As i was walking out this mall security guard yelled out to me "that's what I thought you better leave". This place is an absolute joke and is one of the worst places I've been to.
Good place to go with family, we had a good time there. Reasonable prices in most of the stores. Good resaurants too.
I visited Pecanland Mall a week ago. It was very busy and vibrant the same way it was last summer. They have plenty of stores and booths. It reminds me of malls in the 80s & and 90s. Everything was nice and clean. They also had plenty of security guards. The food court has Chinese food, Raisin Cane, Chik FIL A, Philly cheese steak, etc. I also like the option of an arcade and a movie theater on the same campus. It was well worth the hour drive, and I look forward to returning soon.
Pretty dead in the middle of the week but it can get real busy every weekend. You don't want to visit in the summer though. You sweat walking around the mall
Quiet mall during none peak times. Very hot in summer under the sun roof. Clean. Nice shopping.
Man, oh, man. When I think of good food and where I should travel to eat good food, Monroe, Louisiana, doesn't even crack the top 100 on my list. But after eating at Parish, Monroe is in my top five! Hidden away in an industrial area, Parish comes up
Our kids (ages 11 & 7) really enjoyed our quick visit to this awesome military and aviation museum! First of all itâs totally FREEâ¦.canât beat that! Secondly the staff were so friendly and walked us around each room, answering questions and sho
I came out and tour the apartments I met with this lady name Kendra. She was very nice and sweet! Also very professional. She showed me around the apartments. I was very pleased at what I seen. I signed my lease the same day! Highly recommend if you
Just had a quick hour to spend, and glad we did! There was a program promoting hunting and fishing while we were there, so it was pretty loud and busy. But one of the park attendants caught us and filled us in on where to go for the short hour we had
Came here for some grilled oysters after a disappointing stop at another spot. Place was very nice. Great view of the river. Great service and the oystersâ¦. Chefs kiss! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was bomb too!
This is about the only place in Monroe that you can find hot tamales. There is another place but they don't stay open year round. We have been eating at Southside Coney Island for triple digit years. Yes try them out. You won't be disappointed.
Place is usually easy to get in and out of. Frozen meals make busy days' dinner easy. Better than frozen grocery store, not quite homemade. Bakery items are always fresh and good.
