Lots of green space to play in and a pretty nice playground that was updated a few years back. Much more to play on when we were coming over 5 years ago. Plenty of nice trails too. Also, it was nice to check out the Goodman Bridge they have placed here.
Great place to spend a few hours or the entire day! The 23 acre Park is very well maintained by the city. There are lots of large pecan trees scattered throughout. Old and young will enjoy its beauty. There are plenty of amenities to make your trip enjoyable for all ages. There is a children’s play area, pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables and frisbee golf. Dogs are welcomed if on a leash and parents provide clean up.
Beautiful, peaceful, entry bike trails, clean, family friendly, dog friendly, picturesque, fun... Never disappoints. Birds, pecan trees and life reside here. 100%
It was a little hard to give this four stars. Only because I'm a bit sour about the parking. I had to wait around for a parking place and when my daughter and I finally walked to the park there was only 3 other kids there... and the parking lot was FULL. It hit me that SFA students park there for free to walk to their classes. But, certainly not fair to families who actually want to go out and make memories. As for the ACTUAL park. It was very clean, no liter, and a lot of the play area is shaded. They also have really nice double swings so parents can swing with their little ones. It was a fun experience all in all.
Nice big park! Great place for frisbee golf and walking your dogs. Also has a pretty big playground for little kids. We were there in the winter so there were no leaves on the pecan trees but it was still nice 👍
Love to walk here. Great for everyone if any age. Family outings, picnic, bring my pets. Play all kind of games. Always kept up. Can't imagine how they do it. Close to the college. Plenty of places to rest. Playground equipment is really nice for the kids.
This has always been one of my favorite parks in this city. It's big, it has a nice playground, and lots of open fields. My favorite thing though, is it's history. The park was formerly a pecan orchard, and most of the trees have been left. They not only provide shade all day, but during pecan harvesting season the ground is littered with fresh, ripe pecans that fall off the trees.
Nice playground and wide open area, could've done without the hobos yelling at their dogs under the pavilion

Beautifully renovated historic hotel. Rooms have been upgraded with modern amenities. The rooms are small compared to new hotels/motels . The restaurants and bar are an attraction of their own with good food, drink and service. The pool area is refre
Came across a little gem of a BBQ spot in Nacogdochesâ¦Brendynâs BBQ. Walked up to the counter and the lady doing the meat cutting kindly gave me an overview of the menu. I already saw her make a couple of sandwiches and was impressed, she is a sk
Love that the atmosphere is laid back and itâs not as crazy as Starbucks. (Which I always have the worst experience) The coffee is great here too! I like to drink my coffee and read a good book and study.. I have never had a bad experience and the
Outstanding donuts, one of the best I've had in Texas. Light, flaky, wonderful flavor. Had cinnamon rolls, glazed twists, and cake donuts. Each was amazing. Staff was super nice. Got me a place for donuts in Nacadoches ð.
