Pearson's Pond Suites - Featured Reviews (32)
My extended family stayed at Pearson's Pond and utilized both the upstairs and downstairs rentals. It was perfect for two families. The upstairs kitchen was large and open and was used by all; the kids had a blast in the hot tub at night. It was the perfect accommodation for a large group that wants to have shared space, but separate areas for sleeping. At the end of our stay, we had a medical emergency and staff was open, communicative, caring, thoughtful, and very generous. We are forever grateful. We cannot recommend this rental enough.
This unit was exactly what we were looking for. Great location on a quiet street, fully stocked with amenities from laundry soap to coffee and the added bonus was a massage chair and hot tub! The unit was clean and spacious. MaryAnn was easy to communicate with and promptly answered my emails/calls. Most importantly, she was extremely helpful when someone in our party had to go to the ER. She was genuinely concerned and we will always be grateful for her compassion and thoughtfulness. I will recommend this place to anyone I know staying in Juneau and will hopefully return to stay again in the future. Thanks again MaryAnn!
My husband and I stayed here for a week for our secret alaskan elopement. We had a great experience! Maryann is amazing as was always available at anytime by text or phone for any random annoying questions I had regarding the home! The House we stayed in was beautiful and very clean! Had everything you could need ! The outdoor and indoor jacuzzi was amazing and our favorite part! Can't wait to come back! Oh yeah my husbands favorite part was the message chair lol
The suite was well appointed and exceptionally clean. There were really nice touches like quality products. It is not a luxury hotel in New York City but it is high quality because I have stayed at other Juneau properties. This is the best hotel and the Maryann is super helpful, friendly and arranges the most amazing adventures. I have recommended it to my friends and I can’t wait to come back
Wonderful place to stay when moving out of your house. There’s a cute kitchen area! The boys enjoyed the beds and how you could control the firmness of the mattress. It’s perfect for a family of 4. I personally enjoyed the location because it was close to my house and family.
While Maryann is fantastic, the pricing for her properties is a rip-off and the marketing is misleading. I went with this property because I didn't want to take a chance on a false advertisement on vrbo or air bnb while traveling with my mother in law. ||This seemed to be a legitimate property based on pictures of the interior and the amazing reviews. I discovered they were reviewing the previous property which seemed to have been worth every penny. This however is not that property. Moving forward my husband and I will always Google earth everything before we book it. Search vrbo/air bnb or get a room downtown for better priced lodging that is bigger and has a better view. This place is tucked in a neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac with no view of the gorgeous Juneau scenery - just houses. Definitely no pond. I'm looking at a neighbor's yard boat. The berry patch suite is drastically smaller than the eagles nest but both are sorely overpriced. It's a cute, clean and comfortable place but not for Pearson's Pond prices. This is listed as a hotel on Google and a B&B on trip advisor but it is neither of these things. It's a converted residential short term rental and the smallest rental I have ever rented yet it is the most expensive. There is no washer and dryer and the rooms barely fit the beds. Definitely not what I expected. Trying not to think too hard about the cost - just makes me angry at myself. This is worth 300/night at best. But you basically pay another 1k for a concierge service. Save the money and book the activities yourself! Definitely disappointed but can only be upset at myself for not doing better research. Hope this review saves the next person planning a trip to Juneau. If this city weren't so wonderful, I'd really be sick about this. The great time we are having in Juneau makes this pill easier to swallow.
Fabulous location. Within minutes of the Mendenhall Glacier yet only 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown. Sleeps 9 comfortably in four bedrooms and two sofa beds, Two hot tubs! All the comforts of home. Maryann is a pleasure to work with. She handled the details for the house, our car rental and our tours. All 1st class. She even worked with me to stock the refrigerator and pantry prior to arrival. My grandsons appreciated the Oreo cookies!
Our stay at Pearson Pond was amazing. Our rental was on Douglas Island and we had a beautiful view of multiple mountains. Maryann was amazing, she helped book all of our excursions and gave us great recommendations for dinner! We highly recommend if you’re staying in the Juneau area.

I've booked dozens upon dozens of faceless corporate hotels while traveling for work and it was refreshing to stay somewhere with actual personality and character. Silverbow is incredibly charming and intimate. After a few days I felt at home and was
This hotel always has super friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, nice rooms with kitchenette (washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, coffee-maker) and it's quiet, and comfortable. When we arrived the heat wasn't workin
Taku Lodge was amazing. The staff to the views. I couldn't get over the view of the glaciers. The salmon lunch was fantastic! After lunch, we got to hear all about the previous owners of the lodge. Then on to a nature walk. The whole place is an expe
This shop is real authentic! Small shop but very welcoming. I went to Alaska looking for some buds and The Fireweed Factory delivered! Solid prices for their product. Will definitely come back during my stay.
Nice & easy walking path to get here if you have decent mobility. Not ideal for limited mobility. Great signage. You can't get lost. Saw lots of small wildlife, like mice & birds. Someone reported seeing a bear, but we didn't see it. You can get so c
