Being an aviation enthusiast, I loved my visit here! It is truly cool to discover all the many aviation events that have occurred here over the years. The museum may be small, but it is packed with a wealth of historical information and interesting aircraft! It is located in the Pearson Air Field, so part of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, which means after visiting the museum, you can walk outside and watch planes coming and going (and how I love to do this!), as well as visit all that Fort Vancouver has to offer...which is alot. I haven't been here in the summer months yet, but from what I can see from photos/videos taken by fellow Google reviewers, they open up the hangers so you can check out all the wonders of aviation that are within them. I'm excited to come back, and I was just here yesterday!
It is free to visit this museum, which is awesome, considering the wealth of knowledge/early aviation planes on display, and the pristine condition it is in.
Call me bias when it comes to anything aviation, because let's face it, I have the upmost respect for pilots. Early aviation in particular, is full of pilots that were truly brave, especially after seeing some of the aircraft they flew! I have nothing but respect for pilots period, past and present. When you see some of the performances put on during the airshows; if you are not in awe, you might want to check your pulse, lol.
I highly recommend this museum! 👍🏼✈️🤙🏼
They have a corner of the lobby dedicated to children: books, airplane toys, puzzles, crayons. My two year old grandson loved it! He didn't want to leave.
The tour is self- guided.
It's free, part of the national museums, though worth donating to.
A nice small museum with free admission. They have a lot of information about Chkalov's heroic flight - be sure to check the second floor. There is a fun activity with a parachute for the kids in the lobby.
Place was closed when I got here, but I'm sure it's full of awesome aviation history! I will return some day when it's open! Definitely worth coming back!
Really nice location, friendly staff working and to help make the museum experience fun and interactive. It is also free so no cost. It’s a small museum so it took my five year old on a few minutes to go through but they thoroughly enjoyed the space and coloring. The volunteer veteran was so freaking nice and got my kiddo a badge to wear and take home. That was super nice and inclusive of them.
I was stationed at Fort Vancouver for 2.5 years as a Army Reserve's Supply Clerk and until today I never visited the Pearson Air Museum. It was very quiet, beautiful, clean, and the model planes and old military tents were really cool to checkout and learn about. So much history and such a stunningly beautiful area to visit!
Neat little museum. Free admission. Plenty of history packed inside. Kid-friendly. A great addition to a visit at the Fort.
A small museum but loaded with information and history.
Highly recommended - especially restroom.

Met a friend for a party date with our sons. City play was clean, well kept and the areas weren't run down. They either keep up with the wear and tear from toddlers and young children or it's because the business is brand new. But Im hoping the forme
I just ordered the three falafel patties as a snack, but I'll be back soon for more because damn those were amazing! They smelled soooo good before I even took them out. Also they're larger than the falafel patties at most other places I've been to.
Wow! The food was absolutely amazing! The flavors were so fresh and vibrant, it was truly a taste explosion. And the best part? There was no long wait time at all! The owner of the food truck was so sweet and courteous, it made the whole experience e
