Pearl & Vine - New American restaurant in Katy - 26151 Nelson Way, USA

I went here for a birthday lunch. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Very clean and chic. They added some winter holiday decor. I liked my food, which was the braised short rib, and my drink, the spicy peacharita. They split checks for large parties. The waitress was polite as well. The only thing I disliked was the $10 flat charge per person for being part of large party (6 or more; we had 8). A percentage of each bill would be more fair, especially if someone only got a $10 drink and paid the same in fees. I’ve been told it’s better to go during happy hour so that would be my same suggestion. I would return but only for another special occasion.

Fantastic decor and ambiance as I dined with two friends. The waitress' service was superb and she was very attentive. All areas were clean and tidy and was nice to be able to see in the kitchen. Started with the yeast rolls and duck confit fries. Rolls were basic, came with jalapeno rasp jam (was not spicy) and butter. Being 3 bucks I can't complain but would like to see challah, milk break, fresh bread or something different. Fries were tastey and would not change. For main course had the prime ribeye, which cooked correct but had a lot of fat on it. The asparagus it came with were huge and fibrous. I prefer thin and tender ones. Brussle sprouts were delicious. Drinks were on point. This was the hilight of the meal. Desserts, we had the curro Cheesecake that strangely had an oreo cookie bottom. I think it would be better with a traditional gram bottom. The key lime bar was on the sweeter side with a strawberry glaze under a thin popping of whip. Wish the whip was light and fresh whipped. Overall, I was expecting more scratch made and attention to small details as they have fine dining prices and the dishes were common pairings.

We went on a Thursday night and it was still a nice size crowd. However, everything went smoothly. We were very well taken care of. The food was very delicious. This is truly one of my favorites dining places in Katy.

My recent visit to Pearl and Vine restaurant was a mixed experience. Chelsea, our server, was truly outstanding - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu which we greatly appreciated. The atmosphere at Pearl and Vine was wonderful, creating a comfortable and inviting setting especially with the live music! It was a great place to unwind and enjoy the evening. However, I must mention that the food fell short of our expectations. The stale chips were a disappointment, and the pork barbecue caramelized onion pizza lacked the expected taste. It was very bland and the meat was so dry. However, we really enjoyed this place and would be back and would recommend it for a nice evening out.

I got invited to a friend's birthday brunch at Pearl and Vine in Katy, TX, and the experience was superb! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were impressed by the elegant atmosphere. The dining room was warmly lit and decorated with modern furnishings, and the outdoor patio was a beautiful space to enjoy a meal on a sunny day. We were seated at a table outside the patio and our server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. Some of my friends decided to order cocktails,which, according to them, were both refreshing and delicious. Once we had our drinks, we began to look over the brunch menu. There were many tempting options to choose from, but we ultimately decided to order the waffles and chicken and the chicken fried steak. When our food arrived, we were immediately blown away by the presentation. The waffles were topped with a generous amount of crispy chicken, fresh berries, and whipped cream, and the chicken fried steak was served with a side of gravy and mashed potatoes. But the presentation was only the beginning. The food was absolutely delicious! The waffles were light and fluffy, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the chicken fried steak was juicy and flavorful. The gravy was rich and creamy, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery. We all savored every bite of our meals, and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food at Pearl and Vine. In addition to the amazing food, we also enjoyed excellent service from our server. He was attentive and friendly, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, our brunch experience at Pearl and Vine was superb. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was well-pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great brunch experience in Katy, TX.

Great service by David - very attentive Waiter!  The food was very flavorful and the drinks - especially the Carajillo - were divine!  The steak was medium-rare, just as i asked for, and the short ribs were delectable.  This is someone of a hidden place but well worth the drive.  And the bar looks very cool, so we’ll have to sit there next time.

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere and scenery is unmatched. Food options are great. Service is always on point. However, the food consistently lacks taste. You'll need to add salt, pepper, and potentially other condiments if you are looking for flavor.

This place was nice and very corporate feeling, definitely didn't feel like a date type restaurant. It gets 3 stars because the food was inconsistent. The duck in the duck confit fries was very dry, and the burger was very basic and not only was it basic but it was over cooked, unseasoned, and dry. The banana foster creme Brule is a pass too. The pizza was fantastic though, incredibly fresh and delicious.
