Peak RV Resort - Featured Reviews (151)
I was a little nervous to stay here at first because of some of the reviews, but I’m glad we did. We stayed over a month and it was great. There is a little highway noise but nothing like I thought it’d be. We were in site 76 the entire time and had a great view of the mountains. The sites are a bit close but because we didn’t have another camper on our door side, we didn’t feel it. The people are great and friendly and my son loved having so many families to play with. The price was a bit more than we feel it should have been. Simply because there is a lack of activities, no playground or pool. But it is close to a really nice park that we rode our bikes to. Loved the gated access to! Didn’t need the laundry room but it seemed nice and clean when I did see it. We will definitely stay again.
I love how there’s not too much greenery so that there’s not a lot of mosquitoes and how they’re always on top of spraying for the weeds and the critters. They are very welcoming of families and dogs, which other campsites were not. Our family feels safe, letting our daughter play with other children in the RV Park because of the security, including the cameras all around the park including the entrance and exit gates. It may be pricey, but that’s everywhere in Colorado. You getting the good bang for your buck.
We enjoyed our time in this park. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Very clean and secure. Shower rooms cleaned daily. All pebble lots. I wish there were more fire pits and picnic tables. Very nice place to stay.
False advertising. They are not even close to the base of the mountains as they try to show in their pics and adds. They first impression with office help was great. After that they turn into Nazi’s. I pulled in one day my site was literally the 3rd site in. I was told I wasn’t doing the required 10 mph, I was coming in “To Hot”. I had looked at my speed it was 11 mph. The sites are advertised as huge. Plenty of room. My fifth wheel slides hung over gravel area between sites and my truck had to be almost in the gravel on the other side. Their showers and toilets are portable trailer units poor quality. No amenities other than that. Small airport near by. Small planes start every morning starting at 5 am. Not a Resort in any way.
We started our Colorado Springs trip at the KOA in Fountain, and after one night there, we moved to Peak RV Resort without a single regret. My husband and I aren’t necessarily RV park people, as we really enjoy our privacy, but we WILL be coming back to Peak RV! Terry was wonderful to talk to, and so down to earth! Stacy was a hoot, too, and I cannot remember the other lady’s name who helped us the first day, but she was awesome too!!! If you are in the Colorado Springs area, don’t waste your money trying to stay right next to Garden of the Gods. Stay at Peak RV! They had a gate that remained closed at all times!!!! Talk about feeling secure! Had plenty of places to walk our dogs, and the space between sites was PERFECT! Can’t wait to come back!! 🫶🏽
We stayed here for a week, nice big spots. They accommodated us with a 50 amp. They have a dog run, showers, picnic areas and it's gated. There is a cute area near the Hilton with swing benches and a fire place.
The place seems really nice. Management is really nice, it is a bit pricey just for a couple day stay.
My only issues were the street traffic day and night, it's loud! The vehicles driving through the park bumping their music and the kids running throughout the spots. We had to continue to tell the kids across our lot (45) to move off our lot or stop running infront of our truck when we exited or entered our lot, the mother didn't care.
The neighbor next to us tied his dog to a rope to his RV and went after my husband when we would turn on/off our water.
It was OK for what we needed at the time, but doubt we would come back. Not the place for us.
Urban camping at its best. Gated. Clean. Quiet. Lot rent included local TV channels and Direct TV. Bath house is clean and built with privacy in mind. Perfect place to park your rig while you explore all the nearby sights during the day. Easy access to I-25 and all the major roads that go into the mountains.
We were in a RV. This was a beautiful place, service was good, had a great laundry mat, clean restrooms and bath houses. This is in a great location to see the area attractions and places to eat! I give it a 5 star. Our view of Pikes Peak is below.
I didn't read the reviews before I booked very last minute and once I did I was concerned we'd have a bad experience but my concerns were unfounded.
The park was nice and neat, bathrooms and showers were modern, well-maintained, large and well lit a
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
