Peacock Alley - American restaurant in Bismarck - 422 E Main Ave, USA

Good food, filling, and the amount of food was perfect. Atmosphere, eh, but it was in the middle of a business and school day, so my expectations may have been a little high for the establishment. My waitress was pleasant and friendly, and her suggestions on the meals were spot on.

Ok. They serve sweet potato waffle fries with marshmallow dip. Marshmallow Dip. Other than the marshmallow dip this place seems like a restaurant adults hang out. Adults with jobs that like to talk about work after the business days ends. They seemed a little short staffed but the server that eventually helped us was lovely. The French Dip...was OK. Served a little cold (short staffed) and on a hot dog bun. The rice peanut bowl was pretty good, definitely hit the spot. The building itself is unique, they don't build them like this anymore. It's worth the price of a drink to just sit in there and look around for a bit.

Couldn't eat in the restaurant, a function was going on, so had to eat in the bar. My Cuban sandwich was average, onion rings, dry. Hubby had a walleye sandwich, pretzel bun was nice. My diet mt dew seemed to be pretty watered down. Bathroom was average, but not clean. Floor in bar was littered with crumbs, took a while for dirty dishes, stacked up on the bar. To be returned to kitchen, young man seemed lost and only paying attention his ear budd

Incredible atmosphere. The architecture of the building really takes one back to the old west. Service as great. Food very good. Walleye tasty, but could use the option of a drizzle or sauce. Drinks stout. Highly recommend.

Haven't been here in a long time! Chill, historical atmosphere. The Cuban sandwich and fries were spot on.

Atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent! We even got a bit of a history lesson after a question about the architecture of the building. No doubt, a new favorite! 👍 👍

Drinks were brought out incorrect. One with no ice, had extra ice. And other things. One of the wrong drinks actually had additive that can interfere with meds, and we were careful to select items that wouldn't. No offers of refills in over 2 hours. It wasn't that busy in there and seemed decently staffed. Was it brought to the attention of management, yes. And they did refund the mess up, but the attitude of him was what got my heckles up. It is a big deal for those who can get sick from added items that were not ordered. Will try it again sometime, but it will be a while.

Met up with some family while staying in Bismark. Our server Cat was super friendly, she knew the menu well and was very helpful with recommendations. The food was also wonderful.
