Love visiting this farmers market. Reminds me of the markets in Europe where i grew up (Belgium). So i was super exited to find Ann’s bakery French bread and croissants etc! Since i grew up in Belgium i am bilingual (actually 4 but who is counting 😆). Started a conversation with Ann the owner in French. She immediately gave me a piece of focaccia bread to try. I asked her where she grew up in France (Le Mans), but that was the extend of the conversation. I told her something else (how passionate i am myself about baking bread), but she simply turned her back on me after she figured out I wasn’t buying anything… wow. How rude… i guess this confirms what they say about the French… Not very friendly, and all about the money… so sad…
There are a few consistent sellers who offer farm fresh ingredients and products. I enjoy this shopping experience when I have the kiddo it is engaging and year round.
Always a good time, even if you end up just getting a delicious coffee & walking around. DO NOT pass up the bread booth! I've tried most of their sourdough loaves, the English muffins & the beignets, & everything is amazing!! Also everything I've purchased from the sausage guy is so delicious! I'll try to remember to update this with the actual names of the booths, but it's a small market, so hopefully you won't have any trouble locating them.
It doesn't feel appropriate to call this a farmer's market when only 2 vendors sell produce. I've seen fruit stands with more than I've seen in this whole market combined. I come to this market for the honey and tamales because there is no way I could get enough produce and variety for a week. I would like to see more fresh fruit and vegetables at this vendor's market. It's disappointing.
Amazing selection and awesome vendors, we will definitely be back to shop again!!! Open Wednesdays and Saturdays 9-1pm, well worth the drive!
Fun place to find all sorts of goodies. Blue Donkey Coffe is no joke! Lots of hand crafted item and interesting things to eat.
Always great to visit for vendor items and you can't hardly go without seeing someone you know! The vegetables are very good and bread from one vendor is great and lasts!
Awesome little market! Great for veggies, meats, and breads. Doesn't have much variety week to week though and parking is a nightmare.
