Peaceful Belly isn’t just a place to go eat – it’s a whole farm to fork experience! And a memorable one, too.
Located in the beautiful Sunnyslope Wine Trail of Idaho, Peaceful Belly is the perfect stop after an afternoon of tastings. While it wasn’t busy when my husband and I arrived for our 2:30pm reservation, I would still recommend making reservations which can be done through their website or through OpenTable.
We began our visit with flights of their highly-acclaimed Stack Rock Cider (choice of 4 drinks, $8.00/flight). Our server was kind enough to throw in another 2 so we could test the entire menu. Both of us agreed the best one is the Skinny Dippin’. It’s the perfect blend of sweet basil and tart lemon – we couldn’t leave without bringing home a bottle! If you’re not a cider fan, they do offer wine from the surrounding wineries.
We were informed the menu changes weekly and follows the seasons. There’s lots of vegetarian options, but also some meat dishes. It’s obvious that a lot of thought goes into each dish as they’re all very unique. I chose the Eggplant Parmesan Flatbread (house made flatbread, breaded eggplant, basil, Parmesan, mozzarella, house made tomato sauce, $17.00) and it was absolutely exquisite! The roasted tomato was deliciously sweet and reminded me of peaches, I think? The tomato sauce was wonderfully seasoned and burst with flavor, better than anything you can buy at the store. My husband ordered Ratatouille (cherry tomatoes, zucchini served on “socca” (garbanzo bean) pancakes with eggplant spread and fresh herbs). He loved the fresh dill on top of the perfectly cooked vegetables, which paired amazingly with the cakes. This dish had great flavor and was cooked to perfection as well.
We couldn’t leave without trying the Peach Pie, which is literally a mini pie filled with sweet peaches in the most delicious crust I’d ever eaten topped with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla (IYKYK) whipped cream ($12.00). It was SO good.
To top off our wonderful time, we bought a vase and for $12.00 we were able to create a beautiful bouquets. I had a blast choosing from so many flowers!
I’m really looking forward to my next visit to Peaceful Belly. This is an absolute GEM. It’s worth the drive, it’s worth all your time. Don’t sleep on it!
Love the farm to table concept. Very nice place, great food, awesome drinks, excellent service. Nice touches like fresh flowers on tables. Interesting and delicious ice cream flavors! Would definitely recommend.
This is a cool place to visit. I found the menu selection limited, and mostly vegetarian. The portions were small. The presentation was wonderful. Prices a little bit higher than I expected.
I likely don't even have the words to adequenly describe how wonderful my experience was. From the moment we pulled onto the property, it was like we were in an oasis- a farm oasis! It is so homey, beautiful, eccentric, the list goes on.
It is the most true farm-to-table experience. Everything is fresh from their property that the restaurant sits on or local vendors like them.
The food was incredible. We were told that their menu is crafted by their chefs based on what might be growing in the garden and in season and they serve it until it runs out. We had to try one of everything. I even brought my picky husband. We mean it when we say, we absolutely loved EVERYTHING.
We came with several friends and they accommodated us just eating family style and trying everything. Which brings me to the staff... I can't say enough positives there. Every person we encountered from the moment we walked in the door, was delightful. They all seemed to help each other and work together with flow. Kindness just radiated from them and they all seemed to have pride in their work. It was refreshing change from the norm.
We also couldn't pass up trying all of the hard ciders. They were so delicious we had to take several home with us. Thank goodness they have plenty on hand just for that reason! The farm store that is attached to the restaurant rocked our world. They have a little bit of everything and we went home with....most of it.. 😂
I just want to thank the owners of this beautiful place, the staff, and anyone else that may be part of this exceptional operation. It is truly a phenomenal place!
We found this place in between wine tasting and we're so glad we did! The food was delicious, the service was great. We had the sourdough bread and butter, I had the corn pot pie, and my husband had the meatball Flatbread. It was all amazing, there were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, but the pot pie was a winner! We enjoyed this stop, it makes for a great lunch in between all the wineries
Wow. Went for a celebration and we were totally impressed. Nadia our server created a beautifully curated experience. We were guided through the menus and delighted with our choices. We had appetizers, ciders (house made!) the yummiest brunch and even ice cream to finish. Everything was unique and special and REALLY yummy!
We had the privilege of a wonderful farm tour given by the owner, followed by a cider tasting of many varieties with extraordinary appetizers served.
We stayed after for an outdoor dinner on the covered patio, that was from ingredients grown on their beautiful farm. The food was flavorful, fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and clearly enjoyed working at this unique farm restaurant.
The whole experience from Clay's passion in introducing his cider types to the wonderful meal and a charming atmosphere overlooking the treasure valley at sunset, made for a memorable evening. It was a joy the see the heart and care the owners pour into their land, their food, their community and the unique dishes they create. We couldn't depart without bringing home fresh vegetables and a case of ciders from the farm store. We look forward to visiting again soon. This place is worth the peaceful drive out to it.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Peaceful Belly. I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the quality and variety of food on offer. ALL MADE FROM SCRATCH (very few items are purchased from a store)
My party and I tried almost everything on the menu, sharing family-style plates of Mushroom Socca, Loaded Beef Chili, Barley Risotto, Chicken Pot Pie, Heirloom Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese, and Deconstructed Chili Relleno. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and locally sourced, and the attention to detail in the presentation was second to none.
We enjoyed multiple ciders made and bottled onsite that blew our socks off! The selection is so vast you will find a delicious cider for everyone!
But the true star of the show was the Farm Fresh Ice Cream. We finished off our meal with this incredible treat, and I have to say, the Nutella flavor was my favorite. It was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, I would highly recommend Peaceful Belly to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. The food is expertly prepared, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at this gem!
I enjoyed this place.
They have different things going on each night. Love watching the people play poker.
I didn't like the bar stools.. Updated. Thank you so much
But over all I like the atmosphere and the waitresses were very friendly...

This place has the best food. It is packed full of flavor and it won't disappoint. There are a TON of vegan options as well. The soups are all homemade. I had a delicious salad with an apple butter vinaigrette.
Nice short hike/climb. Steep trail. Used main trail that goes in back. A shorter trail in front looked too steep. If you go to the top there is cliff edge. I like to be 6 feet away from edges. View is good from front of top, getting there puts you 3
