PDK Southern Kitchen & Pantry - Restaurant in Mt. Juliet - 1984 Providence Pkwy #101, USA

My husband and I love this place especially for the salads. They used to have them on special like once a week for $5 and now they're like $8.50. I decided to try their other special grilled cheese and chicken and rice soup. The grilled cheese cheese wasn't even melted and the chicken and rice soup was very bland barely any taste at all. My husband has salad it was great as always. I did tell supervisor or manager and another person that came by our table about the Non-melted grilled cheese. Both of them offered to remake the sandwich or to buy us desserts. I just wanted to let them know that without melted cheese it's just really a cheese sandwich.

Candy was the perfect greeter! The "Ugly Chick" sandwich was truly awesome (it really needs a new name - Ugly Junk?). Nice, clean, family atmosphere.

Our family made the right decision to come here! The food was super yummy. The bacon was crispy and the French Fries became my new favorite. It’s always nice when a restaurant offers gluten free buns! Candace made our family feel so welcomed and we all left with full tummies and smiles. Great place to bring the whole family!

Food was very tasty! Service was very good too. Burger couldn't have been better, cooked well done, which is to my fancy. Bacon was crisp. Fries were hot and lightly seasoned. My partner had the pimento cheese with bacon. She ate it all! She chose fruit instead of chips, fruit was fresh and there was plenty of it. Dishes were served on glass bowls! Only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the cloth napkins...we also took a cobbler of the day to go, peach.

This place is a 10/10 on every level. Candace checked us out and gave us a thorough overview of the restaurant, how they operate, their specials, and her meal recommendations. I got the chicken and waffles (insanely good!!!!) and my husband got the honey chipotle tenders. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. Also suggest trying the banana pudding shot. Perfect portion.

We've heard great reviews from this restaurant and decided to check it out. Great atmosphere and a fun little shop to purchase trinkets and keepsakes. Also really cool that they have a Bible they hand out to anyone that needs one. Logistics that we figured out while observing others: 1) Order at the register and they'll give you a buzzer 2) Seat yourself and keep that buzzer handy 3) There may be a server that brings you the food depending on the amount of customers there which is a great surprise! 4) I noticed some folks leaving their dishes on table but if you are able, you clean up after yourself. The receptical is near the entrance for dishes/trash. The food was delicious and we were all certainly happy throughout our dining experience. I vaguely remember the price but do remember that the price was a little higher than expected but nothing out of todays norms. The staff seemed genuinely nice and typically went above and beyond. We'll certainly come back again!

PDK’s classic American fare is freshly prepared and tasty. They have a variety of items including hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, seafood, and wings. They also serve a few deserts including banana pudding which, according to our young son, was the best he’d ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive. The facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is bright and open. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Food was great . Service was nice! Liked the gift store atmosphere.
