Absolutely the best service I have seen at an incredibly great price, with lightning speed computer repair. Exceptionally superb job by Paul P. who did all the work and ran the entire store. Went to Staples and Best Buy, they could not repair the computer and wanted to keep it for a minimum of two days and charge a large sum of money without a guarantee of repair. Both recommended getting a new computer. Paul P. at PC Planet was able to repair the computer while we waited in the store at a fraction of the cost of what the other guys charge. Paul P. was courteous, knowledgeable, provided great customer service.... Highly rate the store and service at 5 stars +. I rate Paul P., from the Highlands, at 10 Stars.

I was pretty sure the fan was going on my laptop - I brought it in and Paul confirmed that was the case. I dropped it off on a Friday and left for vacation I was hoping it would be done by the time I got back. 2 or 3 business days later he called that it was done and found some sort of oil on the computer that a previous tech must have sprayed on it. They replaced the fan, cleaned the oil and worked with me to pick up the laptop when I got back in town on Friday a little after their closing time of 5:00 pm. The service was fast, the price very reasonable and I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

I went in to talk about my 16yo laptop, but the prices for used computers were so good I Emden ended up getting a used MacBook Pro. Paul was a great sales agent and answered all my questions 👏 He was very patient and allowed me to test several options before I made my final decision. I had an issue with my laptop and I asked someone for a recommendation on where to bring it to be checked out. This tech expert said PC Planet, which is where I took it. Paul was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part, and had my computer back to me in no time. I was very impressed with the service, and everything was done at an affordable price. While I hope I don’t ever have any other issues with my computer, if I do I’ll be coming back here. I had called and tried here based on the reviews. I almost had went to Ocala Tech Fix It based on the reviews I decided to try her first. Well calling in was disappointing nonetheless. The tech I got in touch with was not helpful at all, and seemed like he did not want to help. I had an issue with my version of windows being corrupted that it was even preventing a factory reset. He kept telling me to do things I already tried. I also told him I was not at home and was wanting someone to physically help me vs just me trying to do it. When I asked if I could bring it in for someone to show me what else or for someone to work on it, he just brushed over it. Long story short, I ended up going to Great Choice Computer repair. Their rep quickly heard my issues and scheduled for me to drop it off. Turns out I had a severely corrupted version of windows beyond my knowledge of how to fix, which no normal fix would have worked anyway. Based on the reviews I am sure there is good techs here, but I will be hesitant reaching out in the future here considering my experience. EDIT IN REPONSE TO OWNER As I stated in my review " When I asked if I could bring it in for someone to show me what else or for someone to work on it, he just brushed over it" meaning I did ask. I was not offered at ANY point to bring in my PC in. Cause if I was I would have, hence why I brought it to someone else who said I could when I asked if I could. I did not want DIY over the phone, I was at work like I stated in my initial review and wanted to find a place to drop it off at. I even went on YOUR website and requested an appointment. Never got anything back doing that either. I never asked how to install windows, I built my PC I know how to install it. I stated it refused to reset, reinstall, etc. Non of the normal fixes were working. In which I had a very corrupted version of windows so no normal fix was optional and at that point beyond me. I was looking for a place to bring it, and when I explained that to you the gentlemen that answered my call he just started with things I could try. He never offered me to bring it in, and when I mentioned it he did brushed over my question. I challenge you to read a review fully next time instead of claiming my experience as false when I stated in my initial review that I asked and was looking for a place to bring it into. Never did I ask how to install windows specifically. If you are upset at me mentioning another option, then be upset at the service that led me to that choice. I only gave two stars for the fact an entire company cannot be blamed for one tech answering phone and not providing proper support. I will move it to one star since you as an owner believe in calling customers as liars and not fully reading a complaint. Nor reflecting on it or believing it is possible that the one fielding the call failed at providing that support.

I brought my custom computer here for repairs last year, and they did not disappoint! They were able to fix the problem I was having with overheating and cable management, and a year later, nothing has popped up since. I will definitely consider this business again for PC repair.

They can do same day repairs and they can solder (unlike other local computer repair shops). The receptionist is extremely knowledgeable! You can ask him about anything and he will know!
