Such a cute park! It isn't overcrowded like most parks, and has perfect little walking trails for me and my kids to walk. Also, if you have any books needing rehomed, they have a great take a book, leave a book box.
I live close so it is a great little park to walk my dogs, especially on the paved trails.

Great place for a short hike!! Trails are paved (to an extent) and smaller ones go to a little stream! Found a small salamander and crawfish to look at! I love taking kids I sit for to this park! Playground is cool, too.
They have real bathrooms, a pavilion, a basketball court, a playground, 3 baseball fields, and walking trails. The playground has swings. There is a spot where the 2 trails merge with a trash can and a bench. You can hike down a side path to go see a tiny waterfall and soak your feet in the river. Most of the two main trails are in the shade so going during the day is not a problem. The only downside is that there is no shade in the parking lot or on the playground.
The National Guard helicopter tragedy memorial is a nice piece of work
My kids really enjoy going there..always kids to play with and open area to run around plus trails when u want to go on an adventure
Paxton Ramsey has a nice pavilion, baseball fields, basketball courts and a really nice playground. My favorite thing about this park is the creek that runs through it. Kids love playing in it.
