Good spot to fish, launch canoes or kayaks, and plenty of trails with great photo spots
Playground, shelter, trails, and portajohn. The kids loved the storybook trail and the river. The bigger slide is steep and fun.
It was an absolutely beautiful park no complaints they have a spot for frisbee golf if that’s your game I thought that was cool and it’s a whole course plenty of trails to walk good 4 hours worth if you intend to keep going there’s a good amount of rivers to look at there too
Lovely county park alongside the Black River. Dog friendly (on-leash). Looped walking trails through the woods take you along the river, through the woods and back to parking area. Trails can get a little muddy after a good rain, or during spring thaw. Small playground and picnic shelter.
This is a lovely park, but not in the traditional sense of the word. There is a small play structure for children at the park’s entrance along with a pavilion and picnic tables, but the main draw of the park is its nature trails. There are many paths to travel and informative signs about the local nature and wildlife along the way. There are also maps at every division of the path to help you find your way. We had to climb over one large fallen tree blocking the path and crawl underneath some shrubbery as well, so best to be adventurous and nimble. I would not recommend the trails to the elderly or those who are unable to walk far. The flowers blooming in the fall are modest and beautiful. We saw many Monarch butterflies, frogs, and birds. A peaceful experience and a great place to explore on a nice day.
Was really impressed at how well groomed and clean the trails were. Grass paths were recently cut, out houses were very clean. Great place to go for a walk, lots of beautiful water and bridges. I don’t play disc golf, but the course looked well kept and provided lots of challenges with water obstacles.
With all the pictures of nice water posted, thought it would be a great new place to bring my Golden to swim, it is absolutely not the place to bring your dog swimming. Lots of algae in the water
Trails, playground, fishing, kayaking. Hidden small park!

This farm has beautiful trails lined with oak, maple, apple, pear and other wild bushes and trees. Has a huge hill for sledging too. Great for spending good family time.
This is our favorite walking and hiking trail in the area - many miles of paths with varying levels of difficulty. A popular spot for mountain biking as well. We like it for all the different kinds of terrain and it's a great spot for walking your do
This is a really nice park. It's scenic and has been pretty quiet the number of times that I've been there, but I try not to go when it's busy. I usually hang out or sit in the truck and enjoy the scenery. Very peaceful and beautiful.
There is a long stairway from the parking lot up and down to the beach (or steep sand hill the kids loved conquering) but absolutely worth it. My favorite beach view in all of Michigan. The mound you do go over also gives this amazing high scenery an
Another great Ottawa County Park! I never knew this cute trail was located right behind the Loveâs Truck Stop! Short, easy walk in the loop around the water. Dog friendly! You can also get an up close view of the Macatawa River around the corner.
Nice park! I think there are 2 softball fields, but there may be more. Was there to watch a softball game. Had to share a picture of this cute dog whose owner was thoughtful enough to bring fans along with to keep him cool. ð
They have a hiking trail that is a nice short walk, and also have nice areas to stop and spend time at. On this occasion in June of 2019 I went with my brother in law and kayaked along the trail. The river and lakes around the area have been high a
Beautiful park with plenty of places to hike or walk. Scenic and peaceful with some nice views of the river. There are several bridges that cross the river. A nice place to spend some time or get some exercise walking your dog(s). Love it.
Class was awesome! Janie was super helpful with my technique and was positive and motivating during the workout. I will definitely come back next time Iâm in the area!
Mt. Pisgah was a great place for short but steep hike. We parked about a quarter mile away and started at the trailhead near the campgrounds. After a brief walk in the woods, you are met with some pretty steep steps. It's then a straight climb up 200
I've only been here once and it was a couple of years ago, but I've been meaning to go back because I had such a pleasant experience! Usually, since I am dairy-free, there aren't a lot of options for me when it comes to bubble teas. But Boba House ha
We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House at Lake Street. We will not hesitate to stay here again next year. We loved everything about this place. The condo was exceptionally clean and is in a convenient location to all the things we wanted to
A super unique spot with an attached game room. The drinks were great and the prices very reasonable. They have a large parking lot right outside and a taco truck parked outside for food. We had a really fun time here and I can definitely see myself
