I recently had the pleasure of dining at Paulo's BBQ Steakhouse in South Plainfield, NJ, and I must say it was an exceptional experience that deserves nothing less than a 5-star rating. I had wonderful food and service here. Everything was delicious, all staff was very friendly, it was very cozy inside. I definitely recommend.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now and love it. The sangria is so good. I highly recommend their skirt steak. The chicken hearts are also a great appetizer. Every time we go there we have a great time, the food is so delicious, parking is not a problem. If you want to stay local, definitely go here, you won’t regret it. My family has been coming here for the past 20 years, and I continue to come here with my husband.

This place takes reservations which is a plus. The atmosphere is perfect to take a hot date(my wife) with the lighting and music. Sangria was top notch. Had the rodizio platter with steak sausage chicken. Cooked to perfection! All very delicious! Already thinking about getting a chicken/rib combo tray next week!

First time here. Made reservations online and seated upon arrival. Loved the different sections of the building. There's a take out corner and a bar area with tvs and even an outside patio. We were seated at a nice table in the dining area. Everyone we met greeted us kindly with smiles. Our server was Isabel. She was very enthusiastic and helpful. We had the full rodizio and ordered cocktails, apps, and dessert. Our burger sliders were so delicious. The full rodizio came with a yummy selection of sides including fries, fried bananas, blackbeans, rice, yucca flour, and pico. The varieties of meat were seasoned perfectly and cooked to our perfect temperature. The rate at which food came out was also perfect and we had time to rest a tiny bit between courses and varieties of meat. We somehow still managed to save a tiny space for dessert, and the tres leches and serradura were both delicious. Would definitely come back to enjoy andother Rodizio experience or even just try different entrees without over stuffing ourselves!

What a fantastic dining experience! From the moment we entered the establishment, we were treated like VIP's. The ambiance is spectacular, and the service was spot on. The garlic shrimp appetizer is to die for. The chicken entrees were well prepared and quite tasty. The Sangria was amongst the best I have ever had. Plenty of free parking, nice location centrally located. They offer outdoor dining, weather permitting. We highly recommend Paulo's and it will continue to be a regular dinner spot.

Ordered two steak sandwiches and one chix sandwich, plus 3 desserts. The sandwiches were awful. All bread and no meat. Poorly executed all around. Fries soggy. Order was $65 for take out. No itemization. One could spend that amount and get a better meal at any number of other places. Beware.

What a hidden gem. Outside of Ferry street I did not think I could find a place this good. Let me start with the amazing service. They really put in the extra effort to make you feel at home. Food was prepared just the way I wanted. The Caipirinha was perfect. The chicken, ribs and Picanha were delicious. I saw another table order the rodizio and sangria. I will definitely try those next time.
