Love this trail. Only issue is there are only 3 parking spots close to the trailhead. It is most likely you will need to do paid parking a few blocks away.
We hiked the Paul Intemann Trail in Manitou Springs in August this year (22). Parking is hard to find, but definitely easier on weekdays. We first went on a Sunday, but left because of overcrowding. We went back on Wednesday and started at Iron Springs and then connected to Red Mountain Trail. It was moderately difficult in spots. The real plus was a good bit of shade and some really nice views. There are some steep climbs, especially at the top. We highly recommend this hike!
This is a moderate trail with plenty of views and challenging slopes. The views are breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. It's a long one so bring supplies! The best view is of Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon. I will be taking a whole day to try this entire trail.
Took the Iron mountain section of the intemann from crystal park road, over iron mountain to Pawnee road. It's only about 2 miles but a beautiful hike as you can see east over COS and north into Manitou springs. Moderately difficult with some sections of narrow drop offs and loose gravel. Take the "scenic overlook" as that is the peak of iron mountain.
This is a pretty steadily-steep hike up to the top, but well worth the effort. We've brought kids down to 4 years old, and they've done great. No bathrooms. Be prepared with lots of water. I'm guessing most people could make it to the top in 30-45 minutes.
Breathtaking views, quiet and simple hike! Great place to trail run
Quick and easy hike highlighting some main rock features of the Garden of the Gods. Well-maintained trails, heavy foot traffic on weekends and in the summer. Several scenic vistas. Very helpful park guides and rangers, ask them about the geology!
The only parking is within downtown (10-15 minute walk to the trailhead depending where you park), and Google Maps directs you to local (resident) parking which can get your car towed. Signs are posted near both entrances which state local/private parking is allowed.

Absolutely fantastic and some of the tastiest BBQ I've had. Service was fast and the owner, Stephen is beyond awesome! The brisket is absolutely wonderful whether sliced juicy or chopped. The bark is tasty and smoke flavor is the perfect intensity. B

We loved the 11 am Lantern Tour with Mariah!! She was a fantastic tour guide with great stories about the history and haunts in the cave. The Cave of The Winds has been open since 1881 so there is definitely a ton of history to talk about. As part

Loved it. I wish I could drink mate every single day. We got the mango and the lemon-lime iced mates and both were amazing. Super flavorful and very different from each other. Pleasant atmosphere and ultra friendly & kind staff. The avocado, veggie s
We loved our getaway at Blue Skies Inn, tucked into a private little spot at the edge of Manitou Springs. With a private drive, three lodge style homes housing 10 rooms, wooded surroundings and gardens, it felt like a secluded spot right where we nee
