Great "food truck" experience. It's a permanent site, right by the marina with nice view and breeze from the water. Very clean and very friendly staff. The garlic shrimp plate was delicious! Big shrimp and tasty rice. Shave Ice was refreshing!
Interesting spot off the main road, good atnosphere and live music, but it's a tourist trap. Below average food and overpriced ($25). I asked for suggestions, and the lady gave a total attitude. Her male co-worker wasn't much better. Top it off with a surcharge for using a credit card and the tip. Guy even verbalized, "we survive off the tips." Tried garlic shrimp, but they served it without peeling it 😕 side of rice was bland, and the salad was meh. Food was room temperature. The staff wasn't friendly at all. It looks like they're giving away free smoothies for a five-star review. Honestly, I picked it for the review, but now I see why. I'm sorry I don't give 5 stars for free stuff. I travel for work and depend on reviews for guidance. This one is a 2 at best, and I don't recommend or would go back. Keep going another block to the food truck park.
Discovered this place thanks to Mikey Chen. It's across from the Prince Waikiki hotel. I went there for an early lunch and it was pretty quiet which suits me. They offer a range of dishes but the steak and shrimp caught my eye. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was juicy. The shrimps were tasty and well sauced. The overall meal was just perfectly portioned so it was filling without feeling bloated. The setting is pretty relaxed and covered so you can eat under shade. It's near the water which has a cooling breeze. I went back a couple of days later and had some more of their dishes.
The food in this place is absolutely phenomenal! The plates had so much flavor! And the ambiance was another level! Staff is super friendly too! I visited twice, and the first time they had live music on a weekend!
We were staying at The Prince Hotel for a conference and this place literally was our favorite hangout for the week. We would grab a breakfast burrito for breakfast and grab dinner and listen to some music almost every day. The dinner plates are wonderful. Fresh fish and shrimp with salad and rice. My favorite was the Opakapaka. It looked like this was mostly a local hangout with a ukulele group practicing on Tuesday mornings and families on Saturday nights. The setting is wonderful right on the marina and if you want a break from the hustle and bustle this is a truly sweet spot. The owner Mark is friendly and has lots of plans for this place. If we were local this would be our hangout for sure. Oh and it was BYOB while we were there.
This place is an amazing find, beautiful atmosphere right on the marina, great cheap and cheerful food from two food truck type setups, one doing authentic Hawaiian seafood and meats options and the other doing tacos and nachos and deserts. Surprising as better quality and value than we had at the more expensive resort type places. Super chilled option if you don't want to be eating at the surrounding resorts. Not licensed but you can bring your own wine and cups. Kid friendly big bonus for us!
Very nice people, but the food is just okay. It wasn't clear we were supposed to pickup drinks at another booth, and if you don't get a drink, you won't see the dish return cart. It started raining as we were finishing, and the shade things don't hold off rain, so you'll get wet no matter what. It wasn't terrible, but we were expecting better.
We really liked this place when visiting Honolulu. Came here for dinner once and made sure to come back again before we left. They have live entertainment during the night which was amazing!! Mix of Hawaiian songs and contemporary music. The food was also delicious! Fish&Chips were out of this world! Highly recommended.
They moved to inside the Maunakea Foodcourt where you can easily access on foot from any of parking structures near by. I parked to Chinese Cultural Plaza-->On foot to get there at Maguro Brothers-->Ordered/Picked up them within 30min so I did not ha
Without a doubt, the best and freshest poke you can find in Oahu. We have tried multiple popular poke joints all over the island, but 'til this day would find ourselves keep going back to Ono. Been 7 years since our first visit and no other places c
We had an opportunity to stop at this wonderful restaurant after watching a beautiful sunset. When we arrived it was just after 6pm, and there was a short line, but the line moved quickly. While we were in line a server offered us a menu to preview
Cannot sing enough praises about this place. TLDR; sashimi combo and kalbi. We were so awestruck by the sashimi and kalbi that we came back the next day. Sashimi is fresh, creamy, tender. The kalbi is plump, smoky, and tender and juicy. Honestly prob
Another memorable honeymoon dinner. The chefâs prix fix menu was perfect. Each course perfectly plated and the taste was divine. Dining al fresco on the beach was absolutely breathtaking
Fantastic food, great service, beautiful decor, and a fantastic happy hour menu. Interesting drinks, the $3 oysters, and the discounted Brussels sprouts make this a fantastic happy hour destination! Legitimately delicious food. Went here twice and en
Make your reservation in the early evening either 5:30p or 6:00p so you witness the natural lighting setting. It is not the best of a view but the sunset is breathtaking. This restaurant is wide, lots of tables and a huge bar area; it is great for bi
We were there at 10:30, when they opened for dim sum and they were SO busy. Obviously well loved! Go early if you want to enjoy without waiting. Great variety. Ordering is easy, as they provide you with a color copy of all their dim sum and you j
I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK

Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout
