It's very beautiful at this park. And there are plenty wildlife to see while walking along the trails.
Was coming home to family in Florida after 26 years. Saw the park and had to pull in. I had spent time there as a kid. Launched canoes here with a boy scout troop...it was after dark and under a bright moon. Got to show my wife and mentioned to her that the park seemed changed a little, spruced up and nice. Very nostalgic moment for me! 5 stars!!
Beautiful park with scenic views right off Hwy 98/17 in the little City of Fort Meade, Florida. You'll see water birds, gator, turtles and so much more. The City holds their 4th of July Celebration at this location which is a breathtaking backdrop of color both in the sky and across the water. There are some areas that could be better maintained, but overall a nice stop for a walk, a family picnic or a spectacular fireworks show. Well done!
We love Patterson Park! Our favorite things here are the observation decks and the two gazebos. We were able to spot turtles, fish, and many species of birds. Definitely a must-stop little park!
I like to fish so next time I stop here I probably will fish. I was driving to Ft Myers and was tired so I stopped here to wake up a little and it's really nice how it's set up. The only thing I suggest is getting rid of the red ants. I was standing in one of the wood deck areas and I didn't realize til bitten that they were even on that.
Basically just a tree covered walkway with a couple docks and some gazebos. Peaceful, nice views, not very big. Overall it is alright.
Always an enjoyable visit
Small city small budget of parks. You can see it. It has boat ramp but the water is green. Body of water very small do not recommend
