We visited Patterson as part of a Groupon deal for a wine tasting. Lacy started us off with some "Welcome Bubbles" - delicious - and then proceeded with a tasting of 5-6 pours. We were given the option of white/rose flight or white/red flight. I loved being able to have that option. A great afternoon was spent on their patio, tasting wines and playing some board games that we brought. Don't skip this place! Living in the Midwest, we procured several bottles to bring back with us. Amidst a ton of wineries in the Warehouse District, this one has us coming back.
All the wine we tasted here was really good. The last wine we tasted was super, super sweet and very good. Would make a great dessert wine. Will definitely be back :-) The outdoor seating area was nice and it was too crowded. Nice ambiance too with lots of other wineries nearby.
We were a group of 6 people who went there for one of our friends’ big birthday wine tour. This place was our second stop. We really enjoyed their wine and would like to thank GM/winemaker John who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We had a great experience, learned a lot and will definitely come back for more wine. Thank you so much!
Have had their wines at other places and we are impressed by how good of their wine is; so we decided to check this place out. - ambience: small but cosy. They have the seating inside ( behind the reception) with a tv for you to watch sports if you want or sit in the main reception to enjoy the sun thru the window. Both worked for us and we loved it. - wines: their red wine is phenomenal. The price might be a bit more pricey compared with other cellars nearby but the quality worth it. - service: staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. They noticed anytime we finished the tasting to pour the new one, even tho we was on the back side of the reception. Overall: we had a very good pleased experience here. Definitely will support their wines
A wonderful experience. The venue is perfect for large groups with an atmosphere perfect for summer. They have two different wine experiences, a white and rose tasting, and a white and red tasting. I tried the white and red tasting and never before have I had a port served as part of the wine tasting (they provided chocolate to pair with it ) My friend did the white and rose tasting and walked away with two bottles. They have several different cheese trays for purchase that are a nice size for 2-3 people.
The wine was lovely. We walked in about an hour before closing. Rhonda (I believe that was her name) was pouring the tastings. She was so friendly and nice. Between how personable she was and great wine: a solid five stars.
First time to the warehouse district for tasting. Went with family who are wine club members. Really enjoyed the wine and the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do. Indoor and outdoor seating available, as well as small bites (nuts, dried fruit, cheese, meats, crackers). They also offer cider, beer and misc drinks in the cooler for those that aren't much into wine, but don't want to be left out of the fun. Pet friendly outside as well as a rain/sun shade and fire pit if it's cooler weather. Bought 4 bottles and will be back for more!
The wine wasn't great, and they seemed more interested in pouring quick and clearing the table. I've been told their wine was good, but apparently those selections were only on VIP tours.
