Found this hidden gem in Rockingham, NC. What a nice retrofitted building. I had the chicken wing special with homemade chips. Wings come breaded with a choice of three varieties. Chips came with ranch and spicy ranch for dipping. This place has been recognized as a great local place to eat by Greensboro News & Record. It also won three awards in 2020, which is noted by plaques on the wall. Beautiful photos from the area are also featured.
Literally the best pulled pork I have ever had! If you eat in, bring a jacket because they keep the place cold.
First time eating here. The shrimp was quite over salted, but has a nice crunch and other dishes we ordered tasted good. The server was very nice and friendly 😁 The decor was very simple and nice..love the large window view.
Brisket was absolutely fantastic. So soft it melted in your mouth and could be cut with a fork. Their sauce are awesome too! Fabulous food and a great dining area with outdoor patio when it's nice out and open. Closed when I was here, but they were on the slower side and closing within the hour.
The food was excellent. We don't have a large appetite, so the "Not just for Kids" menu & portion was perfect. Sharon was a delight in her extra-service and suggestions. We might even travel the 50 min to go back!
It is not the best BBQ that I ever had but I'm comparing it to Austin, Texas but overall very good. I ordered pulled pork since they ran out of brisket. It was very good. The only thing disappointing was my wifes salid that only consisted of iceberg lettuce and very limited vegetables. They did have a gluten free menu of the items that you can order but not sure if the kitchen was set up that way. I would also recommend having wet wipes for BBQ foods. It gets a little messy. I was impressed that I was not overcharged for a craft beer. It was less than $5 for a large. If you get a chance to sit outside on a nice evening it is a treat. Umbrellas with the little led lights built in would be a good help to see. Overall I would recommend a visit for very good BBQ.
Waitress was very friendly and a cool atmosphere I thought. Food is great! I had the Pattan special and it was delicious and I’m not really a big fan of pork Loin but I was not disappointed! I would eat again at this establishment. Good place In Rockingham
Best food ever! Lots of vegan options. The plant based burger surpasses all of the other vegan burgers. The Italian vegetable lentil soup is amazing! The marinated vegetables are absolutely delicious!
