Roger and Tom were great!! Very helpful and knowledgeable and prepare us with everything we needed. Would recommend this place to family and friends and the prices were decent and not overpriced. There’s a reason almost all of the reviews are 5 stars with glowing comments. This is a fantastic company/organization. My daughter and I did our basis scuba certification here. The owners are great, as are the instructors. Scheduling was flexible, the instructors were awesome, and everything about the experience was top notch. I’m not sure about the competition and pricing, but I would recommend this place even if you have cheaper or closer alternatives. If you are nervous or uncertain about scuba and want to give it a try, these are the instructors you want. They are patient, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. Outstanding in every way!!!

This is the way a dive shop should be and operate! Owners Roger and Allie were amazing, very responsive, accommodating, and personable. Displayed a truly deep passion for the profession, sport, their mission and a strong customer service focus. Back Story, I am scheduled to depart to Punta Cana to take the Rescue Diving course first week of October, (have already completed the e-learning portion of the course) but needed a fresh CPR/AED/FIRST AID cert. I don't want to spend unnecessary time sitting in a classroom at the resort. Had a paid for Red Cross session scheduled for some time with local community college, and they called me a day before the class to cancel it due to low enrollment. There were no other guaranteed scheduled sessions available before my trip departure and a search of local dive shop training calendars for a possible scheduled EFR session in the next week showed nothing in the limited time I now have available. I e-mailed several local dive shops concerning my dilemma but could not get a commitment to achieve the EFR course in time. However, based on an earlier e-mail response from Roger at Patriot Diving, advising that I could complete the PADI EFR e-learning course and they would work around my schedule and availability to complete it. True to their word, I called yesterday to let them know I had completed the e-learning portion of the EFR and owner Allie, got one of their instructors, Eric, to do a one-on-one yesterday evening to complete the EFR Course! Eric was a fantastic Instructor with a calm and friendly demeanor! Thorough, well versed in the material/topics, customized his instructional approach to my level of knowledge and experience, and ensured I fully understood all of the elements of the training that I needed to know! Using the wide assortment of training aides available in the classroom, practical application, as well as role playing and scenario-based training, Eric ensured I left there with the knowledge, skills, and confidence I may need to be an effective Emergency First Responder and prepared to complete the Rescue Diver course! Although a bit of drive from where I live, it was well worth it! I will absolutely be taking additional training from Patriot Diving and would highly recommend Patriot Diving to any and all divers or those interested in diving. They seem to have a well-stocked store of diving equipment as well!

Just got into snorkeling and free diving, I was able to get top notch fitted equipment I needed to enjoy myself; mask,snorkel, fins; all for under $200. The staff is very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to up sell, they allow you to rent the equipment you’d like to buy to make sure it’s right. They make it easy to feel confident about your investment rather than buying blind off Amazon or generic low grade equipment from sporting or big box stores.

Great dive shop in Occoquan that does their open water dives at the Rappahannock Quarry and Lake Phoenix (south of Richmond). Wonderful service and very helpful staff.

10/10 amazing experience with highly knowledgeable instructors who were able to really help me understand why we were doing the specific tasks and how it will expand my knowledge.
