Love this place and food. The male waiter when I ask do you have bread for the onion soup? I can do hamburger buns. Me: are you serious? Him that’s all we have. Me: can you bring some extra croutons? Him:there’s some in it. Me: I don’t care what you charge can you bring me some croutons? Also, this is not sweet tea do you have sweet tea because that’s what I ordered. Him: you want some sugar packets. Me: no I would like sweet that’s made or just water. Him: brings sweet tea 🙈can’t make this up. Everyone else 5 stars.
Nice restaurant with good American fare and drink cocktail and veer and wine selections. Come during happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 pm you can really get some great deals on food and drinks. Worth checking out if you're in the Downton area. Loved my margarita flatbread pizza and beet arugula goat cheese salad and espresso Martini .
Our waitress Victoria was amazing, always available when we needed her and helpful. Food was great and got to watch football from our table. Very clean and pretty restaurant!
Their fries are amazing, but the fish was not what I expected. The cost was about right for the location but a little too high for the quality of food. I would recommend this place for lunch but not my dinner spot.
Edit 1: Turns out that getting a burger is the correct answer. The bourbon bbq burger was really good and I would recommend it. I got the sweet potato fries, and they are not as good as the regular fries. The sweet potato fries were ok at first, but after a few minutes, they were limp and not fully cooked. The worst part was the water... apparently, they have a water softener as their water filter, and you can taste the salt. The water was not drinkable. Overall, the burger was good, but this will not be my spot.
Pleasantly surprised during my first trip to Patrick's. Went for an early dinner. Anthony was a very attentive waiter and Jesse was the phenomenal manager that made her everything went perfect. I had the black and mahi tacos as an appetizer, absolutely amazing 9.5/10.

It was quite busy and we (party of 2) got seated right away. Waitress said the fish and chips were the best in Sarasota. If this were true, I’d feel sorry for Sarasotans. The chips were good however.
I've been dining here for several years when I visit Sarasota. The selections are significant and very flavorful! A choice of bar, dining room or al fresco (sidewalk) dining for those perfect Florida days. I've enjoyed their scallops and several of their salads- the one pictured is the 1481 salad with added grilled shrimp. Wonderful! The desserts are very nice and tempting and I usually can't resist!
