Patra's Grand Beach Motel - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 185 E Grand Ave, USA

Definitely the place to book. Owners were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and cozy. The beach is clean and not too crowded, only a couple steps away. Approx. 20 min walk on the beach to get to the pier, or 4 minute car ride. The owner showed us the new cottages - awesome. Some are even pet friendly. Try not to book online, call the owners directly, its worth it. I will recommend this place to family and friends, and would surely come back.

This was our first time to stay in Old Orchard Beach and I can't tell you how impressed we were with the cleanliness of our Cottage. We were steps away from the beach. You could hear the waves from the room. Paul and Patra are very nice people and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Paul and Patra were so accommodating. The room that my sister got the first night was a little small. It was very difficult to sleep as I'm used to quiet. They had us in another room the very next night. Paul helped us unload the car and parked it for me. They had outdoor grills to use, which was very nice. Very clean. The outside patio was excellent for getting together in the day or evening and get to know other guest. We met some very nice people.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated cottages and it could not have been a better experience! Located about 1 mi from downtown, this was quiet yet close enough to main attractions too. The cottage was spotless, has a full sized refrigerator, microwave, large shower, outside shared space for an added touch (picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, grills, outdoor shower!). Paul and Petra could not be more helpful, accommodating, flexible and kind. Such an enjoyable stay, I highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a beach getaway!

This small motel property is north of the downtown Pier in Old Orchard Beach. It's on route 1, one block away from the beach. The ocean when we went was calm, with not very large waves, good for families or small children. There is very little to no seaweed along Old Orchard Beach and you can walk or wheelchair along the beach for miles (literally). |The owner, Paul, is very nice and even owns a beach wheelchair people can borrow for no additional charge! There are 2 small steps from the wooden path that connects the street to the sand but we were able to bring the beach wheelchair backwards over the steps without a problem, if the user cannot walk down them. There may be a ramp or beach matts from the street to the sand, but not the at road immediately adjacent to Patra's. I highly recommend this motel if you are looking for a casual, budget conscious stay at a beautiful beach!

We stayed at Patra's for seven nights this past August. And I have to say, this was our best Old Orchard Beach Vacation yet! Although we have been coming to Old Orchard Beach for 10 years, this was our first time at this motel, and my two daughters and myself loved it!! First off the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were nice and have great water pressure, the WIFI was awesome, and anything that we needed was taken care of. Secondly, the whole set up was adorable. A courtyard with an outdoor shower, picnic tables, and grills for the guests to use. And the kitchen had all the utensils I needed. It was very family friendly. Plus, the motel is sooooo close to the beach, which was practically empty. Owners Paul and Patra were so friendly and ready to help us with anything we needed. We loved our time there, and are definitely going back. This is our new summer vacation home!

Loved our overnight here, room was clean, well maintained, beds comfortable, and so close to a wonderful uncrowded beach (water temp was comfortable). Innkeepers were very accommodating. Good spot! We'll be back

We had the best time in this cute cottage right on the beach! The room was spotless, it had everything we could possibly need, and was absolutely perfect! Paul and his wife were wonderful and welcoming from the very first phone call. We are a family of 4 with 2 children and were very comfortable here and there were many things to do for families close to the cottage. I would recommend this place over and over!
