Patagonia RV Park - Featured Reviews (65)
A quick background, our truck needed to be towed to a mechanic. Unsure of the time frame for repairs. We had our trailer towed to this RV Park. Our original reservation was for 2 days. Upon arrival manager said we were good to stay longer if needed. The positives of this location: It was quiet, great water pressure, no issues with the sewer. Tom the maintenance guy is a real gem. He was friendly and willing to help when we needed it. He deserves 5 stars. The negatives: The park needs some major upgrades including its shore power and wifi. With that being said, our power went out frequently in our “row”, during an excessive heat warning. On Friday we were not able to stay in our trailer because temps inside were over 100 degrees. We weren’t about to stay in our trailer in order to message the manager all day to tell her the power was out. We were offered a whole $20 discount for the three days of electrical issues. But then was charged a $7.95 Credit Card Convivence Fee, which was not charged on our original 2 day reservation. Some discount. (Insert rolling eye’s here) We asked for the owner’s name and email address several times to let him know of our situation but was denied each time. We checked out the public bathrooms on Tuesday, used them everyday thereafter. They were only cleaned 6 days later after we mentioned something. The manager became very nervous and agitated when we talked about our length of stay and charges for our stay which differed from what was offered the day we arrived. I said that there was no reason to be nervous. At that time, she said that she was nervous because the conversation is being recorded. There is no written notice anywhere in the office that the conversation is being recorded. Isn’t that illegal? The wifi was weak and buffers quite a bit. We were not able to get antenna channels on our tv either. The flies were unreal. We were not able to sit outside to use the picnic table. I cannot recommend that you stay here. Choose another location. Stay far far away.
We made a last minute decision to take out our new 5th Wheel. We couldn't be in water, but we hoped for something interesting and quiet. They were able to accommodate our large size and short notice. There is no option for cable/satellite unless you are long term. Does have WiFi. It was a little sketchy and buffered a lot. It is mostly long term utilities/mine workers. And it was truly quiet. Noone bothered us and there is an open field just behind their bathroom/laundry/recroom. This allowed us a perfect view of the 4th of July Fireworks. Thank you.
This place doesn't deserve even 1 star. Gave my reservation to someone else and yet we arrived before closing time. Laundromat and showers not working. Pictures are way out of date, this place is grungy looking all the way around the property.. DO NOT STAY HERE This RV business threw us under the bus! No other place was available. Imagine yourself in a tiny town with no place to stay and you don't know the area and it's almost dark. Very unprofessional and insensitive! They should be ashamed doing that to people!
We used to come through used to pay for water and was just told that they no longer do. It wouldn’t even accommodate us this time so we are going to have to run around and try to find water. Thanks to know accommodations know we can do it this one last time nothing
Nice smaller park, owner very friendly, lives on site. Park has restrooms, showers and laundry. Some sites are a little tight but I had no problem maneuvering. I had a back in site amongst the trees. Pull thrus are in full sun. Park is quiet with easy access. Many construction and mine workers stay here so few tenants around during day time. No TV reception with the antenna. Park has free wifi. Three bars with T-moble but enough to text, talk and get enail. This is my second stay here, I'd return without hesitation.
Owner is inexplicably prejudiced, rude, turned us away with no explanation. AZT hikers coming into town, seeking a tent spot for the night, the laundry and shower facilities were greatly anticipated!. We called ahead was told the tenting price. when we walked in, the owner was very gruff, said what are you doing here. we were told he had no sites available That was blatantly false as one of our friends was camping by the entrance in a large grassy area. Plenty of room for several more tents. I had been told half an hour before what the price of a tent site was. My partner mentioned this, Mike said I have no sites. We also mentioned that one of the local stores where we resupplied advised that we stay here, as most hikers either chose the RV park or the hotel for accommodation. The owner Mike I believe, said well she don't run the place now does she with a sneer. we gave up at this point. Very disappointed and mystified.not sure if this matters, but we are Caucasian. This does not appear to be a race issue.
New owners just took over and it's a horrible place they don't have internet you have to pay your own Electric there's M on the pole me and my husband used to stay there would be coming through on our vacation and the older owner he was great they had internet they had some new showers they had really nice stuff here very polite to help every way he could me and my husband went through there about a week ago and we noticed all the changes and it's not the same anymore I would go elsewhere well on to Texas thank you Carrie Wills
After trying and failing to find a suitable dry camping spot we came back to this place and were happy to find an open spot it being Spring Break. The park is small and the bathrooms and laundry room clean. Didn't see much of the owners or many of the tenants. They had the best wifi I've seen at any park. Lovely location.
We really enjoyed our time at Circle Z. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Cuisine was outstanding. The Wranglers were personable and professional with very special thanks to Alice, who guided us through our rides with grace and ease.
Lovely place! A hidden gem definitely ð If you are near don't hesitate to visit. We got to see a couple of hummingbirds and some beautiful birds. My daughter ready enjoyed watching the squirls gathering pecans from the trees ð Can't wait to g
