I came here to try the famous Hurricane. It did not disappoint. I didn’t get a chance to go inside but we did sit in the courtyard. I had a great view of that fountain with fire. Ambience was very upbeat and lively. A lot of people are having a good time. We didn’t have to wait long to get seats. The Hurricane drink has rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, etc. You’ll find a cherry and orange slice on top. The taste is wonderful. You got tartness from the citrus fruits and a sufficient amount of rum. It’s a good drink for sipping and people watching.
On this night, the weather was perfect. The waiter Albert was very prompt and on point. He had a pleasant attitude and kept our table clean. The atmosphere and ambiance were so pretty. First time here, and I will definitely come back
It's new orleans, you have to stop in. Very nice Courtyard seating if you just want to enjoy a drink, the piano bar is a lot of fun. They have food, but we did not eat.
Two visits in two days! The first time in was awesome, the bartender (Missy?) on Jan24th was great!!! Attentive and carried on conversation with everyone. The second visit, Jan 25th, the guy behind the bar ignored us while he cleaned and did side work (he wasn’t busy). He finally acknowledged us, got our drinks and didn’t try to run a tab. No conversation! Hurricanes are fabulous!!
Great live music and Hurricane drink! We had fun at the courtyard. They say that have the “world famous” Hurricane! They are not wrong! I’ve had couple of Hurricanes during my trip! And by far, this is the best.
I remembered this place to be more fun when I came the last couple times. We visited on a Friday night around 8:45-9pm. Our group was one of the 3 tables that was probably under 50. It was crowded and the waiters will find your party a seat. However, the seating will not always be comfortable. The tables are not really wiped between parties, so be prepared for that. The waiters were not very patient when waiting for your orders (as we were trying to pull up the menu with the QR code, but service was bad). They have a dueling piano, which is the reason why we always make a visit here. The pianist are typically very skilled and able to get the crowd hyped. However, the ones we had were only so-so. It also depended on what the crowd requests too. They are known for the hurricanes! It’s a delicious drink with rum as the base. Beware it’s pretty sugary, great for people who don’t like the taste of alcohol but still wanna enjoy the night. Don’t get too many, it’ll creep up on you.
Fun-filled historic venue, one of my favorite places in "N'awlans". Highly recommend the experience.
Talk about an oasis in the French Quarter after walking around all morning. Sitting in the courtyard for Hurricanes may not be on every tourists to-do list but it couldn't have come at a better time. The staff was energized and amazing for our large-ish group of 7.
The best bar in new Orleans if you want to meet the locals. No frills, good beer, great company. Little place that's been running for 4 generations. Just pop in and chat
Was lucky to attend a pre-wedding party here. The atmosphere was awesome, with Halloween theme in the courtyard. The bartenders were fabulous, made a perfect Seabreeze.
Our waitress, Casey I believe her name was, was wonderful. Quick yo refill drinks, super friendly and professional. The atmosphere was awesome. Looks like an old bathhouse of some sort. Lots of comfortable chairs and nooks, gaming tables, decent cig
We came with our kids Thanksgiving evening for drinks/appetizer and live music. It is gorgeous inside. Even the 12 and 16yo were impressed. It made for a special evening. Fries were delicious and generous serving to share. It's pricey but that is to
what a fun dive bar this place is! i loved all the saturn-related jokes and decor around the place as well. we were here during a live piano performance and had a grand time soaking in the musical experience while sipping on our beers and ciders.
We were a little over bourbon street and wanted a chill bar - no frills, just good drinks, a little food to snack on and a vibe. This was the place. Jalapeno cheese curds were fresh and addictive - highly recommend. Our bartender was so chill and do
So Iâm not a fan of malort, but the pumpkin flavor they do for fall is pretty fantastic. Great locals bar with a good dive bar atmosphere and drinks.

Wondering around and found this spot. Very cool place for drinks. Came for happy hour. If you're in town it's worth the trip. Great beer selection and dog friendly.
