Pat Gallagher's 527 Restaurant & Bar - Steak house in Mandeville - 527 N Causeway Blvd, USA

Came here for a rehearsal dinner, so our group was large. This did not affect the quality of anything. All the food was amazing!! Plus, the service was top-notch. Hats off to this place and everyone there, Bravo!! Definitely will be back again and again and again. Whatever you choose is a winner. You can't go wrong!

Enjoyed celebrating my son's graduation from LSU. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating.

Enjoyed an exception steak dinner for my moms birthday. staff was very accommodating to us with our baby who was cranky.All the food and service was what you would expect from an upscale restaurant, 5 stars. My only complaint is for the owners, they charge a credit card fee. My local breakfast diner charges a card fee also, still don’t like it, but most bills there total less than $50. 527 shouldn’t need to charge a card fee when your charging $8 for a side of mashed potatoes and the bill is $300+ for 3 people. And if it’s that necessary, put it on OPEN TABLE when customers are making their reservations to bring cash, in 2023 when people are being robbed everywhere they go, no one is walking around with that kind of cash.

Great place for steak! Can be loud due to close seating, but the friendly atmosphere of mostly locals makes the noisy chatter tolerable. The wait staff is attentive and the food is always served sizzling hot! 527 is consistent in both food quality and service.

First time visiting this restaurant at a recommendation of a friend and I must say...we throughly enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and some old school R&B playing in the background. Restaurant was nice and clean. The staff was friendly from the host yo the servers. There was someone for every need. You had someone filling the water. Sweet young lady, very friendly with a nice smile. The server was nice also, attentive, she did great, except she forgot my husbands lemon😝 Food-The food was really flavorful. My husband truly enjoyed the turtle soup. I tried scallops for the first time and it was delicious, especially with the bacon. Lobster was huge!!! Ohhh the complementary bread...hot and dangerously delicious 😋 I love Brussel Sprouts, but I have to say these were just okay. Too soft for me, I like mine still hard, but it did have a good flavor Dessert was so yummy. The ooey gooey toffee cake. OMG good!! Mr Pat Gallagher blessed us with the dessert since it was our anniversary. Very nice and we appreciated his offering

Good was top notch, however like most restaurants like this way too overpriced. This would have been a 4-star of I would have paid for my own meal. Staff was super, friendly and accommodating.

I would not recommend this restaurant. My boyfriend and I had reservations for 830. We were seated in a room with five or six other tables, and it was extremely loud the entire time. We waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, all while being passed up by several waiters and waitresses without so much as a smile. We got our food and my steak was rare when I ask for medium rare. The food overall was sub par and extremely salty. I do appreciate the manager for offering to redo my steak and for comping my alcoholic beverage.

Nice! We sat at the bar and had a great meal. The lump crab so fresh and delicious!
