Pat Dawson Billings Nature Area - Park in Lawrence - 3951 W 27th St, USA

Just checked it out this evening but we will be back when we have time to hike the trail by the pond. This is a hidden gem where you can just sit and enjoy nature at it's best.

Great little ponds to fish and trails to explore. It's rare to see more than one other person/family there and it's tucked away from a main road, so it's very peaceful! Most aren't even aware this park exists! Quite a lovely place!

Nice path (not paved) to go for a walk. Beautiful at sunset.

Gravel path that follows along a large water feature and wetlands area. Path is cut off by private property gate. Wear bug spray and sunscreen as there isn't much shade and the mosquitoes are out in full force. Wish the trail looped around instead of dead end at the private property gate.

A nice clean nature park. Nice walking trail and tall grass prairie. I see lots of people walking dogs. Has 2 largish ponds but fishing is usually pretty slow.

I used to love to love this spot, but it's overgrown and hard to fish. Now. 2nd pond is hard to get to. Talk grass weeds. There is gravel trail for walking tho

Fantastic place to go. Enjoy a little bit of countryside inside the city and a plus of relaxing with a bit of fishing.

You can fish here. Good quite place to walk your dogs. Trails around that area also
