Spent my friends 30th birthday here and we had such a fabulous time! |Rooms are super spacious with great views of the water. Everything is super walkable to the hotel which is great. Treehouse their rooftop bar was a great vibe and made amazing espresso martinis. And at check out we had breakfast at Lorea which was so yummy! |The hotel staff knew we were celebrating a birthday and made my friend feel so special with amenities in the room and at the pool. Special shout out to Timothy who greeted us with a warm welcome when we came to the hotel, Kami who assisted with check in and Eli, Miguel, and Jesus who were at the restaurants. All of them made such great gestures to the birthday girl to ensure we had a wonderful stay! Can’t wait to come back!

Spent my birthday last week at Pasèa for a few days with friends and had the best time! |We had a very clean and spacious room with ocean view. And there was a bottle of champagne when we walked in to start the celebration! |We enjoyed the sun and some margaritas by the pool, our servers were very attentive and always made sure we had all that we needed! All of the hotel staff made us feel so special! Kami assisted us at check in, Timothy greeted us on day 1 and checked on us our whole stay! ||Prime location, we were able to walk everywhere. Treehouse their rooftop bar, had a great ambiance and made amazing cocktails, our favorite was the espresso martinis. Johnny the bartender was very attentive and Miguel made sure to check on us as well. Right after checkout we grabbed some breakfast at Lorea where we were greeted warmly by Eli and server Jesus M. The service was great and food was delicious. ||Couldn’t have spent a better birthday week 😊|We will definitely be coming back!

Pros: This location is great if you want to be across from the beach with a lot to do in walking distance. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were clean and come with a bottle of wine. The lobby was beautiful. Also, apparently the hotel provides towels, umbrella, and chairs free of charge (we went to other beaches so did not use this service). If you use the services this hotel is probably worth the price. Cons: The full ocean view is still only a partial view. You mainly look out at the roof next door. There are only a few rooms that are "ocean front" which actually have a view of the ocean. I was told my room is full ocean view but "you have to walk on the balcony" to see the ocean. Upon check out, I gave them the card I wanted charged but they still charged the wrong card. I had to call twice to have this corrected (still waiting to see if it's correct this time). They were nice and helpful but still annoying. If I returned to this area I would probably stay in a less busy and cuter area like Newport.

We typically like to try new places each time we travel, but the Pasea is so wonderful that it’s become our go-to when we visit SoCal. The location is perfect, across from the beach and within a 5 min walk to the downtown drag. Also situated next to the Pacific City shopping mall, which features shopping, dining, wellness and exercise options. The hotel ambiance is beach-chic yet warm and inviting. Gorgeous pool and poolside areas including a large outdoor bar. The spa is fantastic (albeit pricey) . And the staff is delightful!

Wow! This hotel was awesome! The vibe of this hotel was exactly what we were looking for in a beachfront hotel. It is walking distance to the pier and shops. It is beside Bear Flag Fish Co which is an excellent restaurant for fresh fish (not expensive). We didn't go in it but the pool looked like a lot of fun. It was worth paying a bit more money for this hotel just to be able to walk out the door and across the street to walk on the beautiful beach for miles! The room was very modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I have only good things to say about this hotel.

The full ocean view we got in room 422 was only a partial ocean view. When standing in the room looking out, we could only see a roof. To see the ocean, we had to step out on the balcony and look to the left. Very disappointing for what is classified as a full ocean view room. Also, we stayed August 17th & 18th. Saturday was so busy, we were not able to get 2 chairs together by the pool unless we were willing to rent a covered cabana. I wanted to enjoy being in the sunshine. The chairs lining each side of the pool are double padded loungers and they are rental only. These were all reserved and not available either. Sunday, we waited in a sitting area just outside the pool and waited about an hour for 2 chairs to come available. It's unfortunate to stay at a hotel with a nice pool for a weekend, and have it be so hard to get chairs to enjoy it. We did really like the Lorea restaurant. Creative chef, great service and yummy food.

Attended our friend's daughter's wedding. The location is awesome!! Right next to the beach....overseeing the ocean. The weather was lovely...perfect setting for the wedding. Light ocean breeze and no/low sun heat. The banquet halls were decorated very tastefully which added to the grandeur of the occasion. Service by the hotel staff was great! Next time.. will stay at the hotel.

The valet team was exceptional, greeting us warmly at each interaction and helpful with our pups. They even offered the best place to park for the dog beach, gave them treats, etc. The entire staff at the hotel was warm and welcoming. This was our first visit, we will be back, our pups are a big reason we stayed with you!
