The owner takes pride in this establishment! Rooms are clean and has the most affordable rate (in Red Wing), and very close to restaurants and stores. Easy to door dash food to the location!

To start our visit we were greeted by the owner and she was so kind and helpful. Getting to the room, it was easy to access, clean, spacious and has a new mini fridge, microwave and a/c (appeared new). There is plenty of space to store your luggage and other items you need with you. The bed.... Oh my gosh, beats almost every other hotel bed, even the $200+ a night hotels. It is soft yet firm at the same time and we didn't get overheated. If you like more pillows be sure to bring your own (I always do) since there are only 2 supplied. I'm sure if we asked though we would've been given another. The room is pretty sound proof. We have 2 mini dachshunds and they hear EVERYTHING and then bark. They only barked once when another car pulled in and they were unloading. That's another plus you can bring your fur babies for a small fee per night added. There are plenty of towels supplied and are typical hotel size & quality. I'm a big girl so I always bring my own large bath sheet. The location is ideal you are on the outskirts but close to restaurants, stores, banks and only minutes away from all the local attractions. I'd even suggest a stay here if you are wanting to go to the twin cities as it's 30-45 minutes away. This is really a hidden gem and will become our go to every time we are in town for family reunions and vacation. Good service does so much to make a motel or hotel a 5 star above new amenities. This has both along with a nostalgic historic feel of the road side motels.

So it's a very very cheap motel. But I must say this!!! The staff are very friendly they have super high speed internet cable and a pretty comfy bed. It's nice and homey for at a motel or hotel. The "feeling at home" feelings is nice and present here. Small but good TV with hdmi connections for your roku!! WEEKLY RATES ARE AMAZING.

On a recent road trip destination unknown, we stumbled upon the little family owned motel! We couldn’t pass it up! The woman who arranged our room was so delightful as well as accommodating. There was recent remodeling and updating. Luckily, she had room for us because we didn’t have a reservation. If you’ve never tried this little hidden gem, you should 🤗

The owner is such a sweetheart and phenomenal and very accommodating.I had an interesting experience to say the least I was in Room 33 first and that room was outdated only because it’s haunted as f and nobody can stay in it long enough to fix it and I got physically ill from it and it’s dark haunted and I politely asked her for a different room and mentioned something about how I’m sensitive to things like that and she should either smudge or seal up room 33 and she politely nodded and gave me a room 2 doors down and that room was fantastic and updated and what a night and day difference in energy and everything, the remainder of my stay was pleasant and I liked it here and if you don’t believe me about room 33 please go see for yourself I hope that you last longer than 30 minutes without having issues… I was very thankful for my stay here for my brief amount of time and highly recommend anyone go here

Admittedly this motel is older. But the owner is committed to updating, remodeling and repairing it so that guests are comfortable. You can't ask for a better price and the location is definitely a plus if you are staying in Red Wing. The owner is very friendly and responsive to her guests needs. I have zero complaints.

In some ways 3 stars is too much but in other ways more stars are deserved. As far as price went, I stayed a week and it was very fairly priced considering my budget. The room is so caked with nicotine, I bought my own rugs to walk on and decided to buy my own cleaning supplies, and do my own cleaning. It's cleaner than when I arrived. The lady in the front office is very kind and makes me feel welcome here. If the room weren't quite so rundown, it would be great. Air Conditioner works so good I'm literally frozen. I heard the owners just bought it so I'm sure it will be updated as time allows. Nice ppl here.

When I had my first boyfriend of 3 years in highschool this was the place we stayed at MANY TIMES😮‍💨 we did get bed bug bites from one of the rooms tho again YALL this was 6 years ago
