I definitely didn’t wanna give a 1 star! Let’s start off saying you don’t wanna rent 106 105 305 they been down with bed bugs and roachs! They think turning the heat on will kill them! The housekeepers they terminated due to they missed a cob web and never paid them and kicked them out due to the Russian lady failed to write down she took room rate out of there money every Friday to the owner! She will not rent to you if you look dirty! The maintenance man can’t stay sober enough to do anything! A guest has video of him sitting in truck doing drugs! All around bad place stay away fr fr! I got pictures n videos to prove this review!
I'd say that's a bad experience for Miranda. It's going to be for Ryan,
The motel itself has a great location. It under new ownership and they are remodeling the rooms and the lobby area. The owner is friendly and housekeeping employees are great!Their friendly and very polite and helpful . Their doing everything they to clean it up and make it a nice and respectful place. I've been here now for about 3 months and thank them enough for how they made feel comfortable and safe.
Rooms have definitely improved compared to what they use to be a little small, new floors, the bedding is no longer full of of cigarette burns, haven't seen any bed bugs or roaches, the tub could use some work, the last time we stayed here the price was $225 or $250 for weekly rate which was suitable for this hotel and now its went up nearly $100 if I wasn't so tired from traveling from Wisconsin I would of looked more into another hotel with the price change. They do charge a $100 deposit in which we have never had any trouble getting it back as long as you do not smoke in your room.
It's was close to what I had expected.. kinda laid back on the rules as long you don't do anything crazy they stay out of your way. It was clean and the water was hot and the heat was good. Nice basic cable. Microwave and fridge work just fine. If the couple upstairs is fighting I can give you the details of the whole thing, upon request.
So I’m just giving a honest review. I know nothing about this motel or the people here. I stayed for two days. The day I came they looked closed but they aren’t. The lady that checked me in was really cool. I think the owner is a woman with a big dog. The dogs as awesome as what she was. Now the room I was in is very nice. New floors big king size bed. No bed bugs or roaches and trust me I looked. 300 channels of cable a microwave and refrigerator. Hot water is awesome and the people that worked there are great. No problems with anyone. It’s also in a amazing location. Food pharmacy and gas station right here. So this place deserves a 5 star rating. The only thing I’d say is the price is a lil steep for me. One week is 300 plus deposit. I only staryed two days but the place before this one was only 200 a week with a 50$ deposit. But there were some big differences between them that some people will pay for.
They have roaches&bed bugs. The Russian owner is a theif she will let someone she saw in the room once with u go over on the day of check out and take over ur room and let that person use ur deposit. She stole my money and tried to make excuses for it. They will just go in ur room any time day or night without even knocking and they r very rude. I'd drive past this place for sure. Homeless ppl hang around the parking lot asking you for money and cigs. It's just not a good place at all.
The lady that checked us in was awesome. She was extremely nice and helpful. The price would have been perfect if it weren't for one thing.. Unfortunately I've got to give it a bad rating because there were bedbugs in the room. I hate to be this person and I'm sorry to the wonderful front desk lady but we paid $275 for a week + $100 refundable deposit (as long as the room is kept in order) which my husband and I thought was a great deal considering the area and in comparison to the last few hotels we stayed at (wonderful but pricey). Anyway, we (myself, my husband and our daughter who is almost 2) paid for the whole week + the deposit and we briefly checked the room out and went out for a few hours to get something to eat. When we finally got back to the motel it was dark out. My husband and daughter both have a severe allergy to bedbugs and pretty quickly, both had started itching and getting hives. Long story short, I ended up using a big plastic cup to catch a massive one crawling in the top sheet.. gross.. when I notified the motel, at first I was told that I would have to wait until Monday for an exterminator to come out but the maintenance person MIGHT have some sort of spray... (no freaking thanks. There was no mention of a refund or an offer to move rooms, nothing. My husband was out of the room at the time that I caught it and spoke to the management for at least an hour and by the time he returned, there had been absolutely no word from anyone who worked at the hotel. They literally hid. The only reason we were completely refunded and we're able to leave is because my hubby threatened to call the law. They didn't give us a hard time necessarily but I'm almost positive that I wouldn't have gotten a refund if it weren't for my husband. I can't speak on behalf of the other rooms in terms of bedbugs but I wouldn't take the chance.. also if I'm not mistaken the place is called TravelHost Inn.. but the sign still says parkway inn.
Overall nice stay. Convenient location. Rooms were clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good and staff kept up with the food and cleaning the tables. Only downside is seating could be improved for breakfast area, sometimes finding
