For the price, it's not that bad. :) It was very quiet. No one bothered me at all. I was traveling alone, and I felt safe. Big bed, no microwave tho. At least not the room I stayed in. I enjoyed being able to have my Zero with me, so that was a nice option. Pet friendly. 💖

One of the better motels I have stayed in for the price!! The bed is super comfy!! The room is a decent size with a nice layout, it makes me feel like I'm "right at home" or maybe more like I am up north in a cozy cabin. Either way, I have extended my stay multiple times. Because like I said, for $50 a night, it doesn't get any better than this! Also, It might be helpful to know that there are No kids allowed here.

I stayed at the Park Motel for a year and there was never any overt drug activity. It was quiet, clean and with the exception of one incident, I was never bothered and no one EVER knocked on my door at odd hours of the night or day. The room was cleaned weekly and the staff were always friendly. Except for the old TV's in the rooms I had no complaints.

I really wanted to give this place a good review. It was nice to talk to Americans, which seems to be a rare occurrence for budget hotels. Tracy, the manager and Marlene the housekeeper was great people, but this was a case of "You get what you pay for."||When we arrived, the room was not ready, although we called ahead as we approached the area. The facility itself is quite old, but that would not bother me if the rooms were clean and in good repair. Out remote kept losing its programming when we turned off the TV. The tiny kitchen area had a very wet carpet which gave the whole room a musty smell. Apparently there was no such thing as a non-smoking room, we had a strong cigarette odor in the room. They tried spraying it with some chemical to take the odor away, but all it accomplished was to mask the cigarette smell with a strong chemical smell.||The bedspread had a new cigarette burn in it, over dirty sheets. Marlene changed the bedding for us and apologized, BUT... When we checked out and stripped the bed we discovered a large and very old blood stain on the mattress.||There was no closet or even a hook or anywhere to hang our clothes.||On the positive side, the refrigerator kept our food cold enough to freeze our milk and the shower was good and hot. ||Bottom line, if we are in the Farmington Hills area again, we will go someplace else and we suggest you do the same.

I called to inquire about a room for myself, my daughter, and my legitimate service dog. I am a veteran and a cancer survivor. All the establishment is allowed to ask, is 1. Is that a service dog? 2. What service does he provide? I have a legit disability. I tried to kindly explain to him that he is not a pet, and he is violating my rights. He proceeded to be rude, and hung up. I will be contacting the ADA on Monday.

Front desk is very knowledgeable and willing to help you get the room you want. The service is great so they get 4 stars but if you're looking for updated rooms, perks, or luxury keep looking. If you're looking for weekly rates and you really need a place to lay your head in a hurry. Stop here.

This motel is dirty & the employees are heartless & greedy. My fiance & I got a room on sat June 4th 2016. They put us in room 25.After 10 mins of being there these flying ants that bite started to land on the bed.at first we thought they were just from outside but I used the bathroom and those same ants were dead on the floor in the corners,dead & alive in the sink & shower.so we searched for where they were coming from.we found in the bathroom they were coming from some kinda nest behind the molding on top of the bathroom door.as soon as my fiance tapped the wood,they started crawling & flying out from behind the molding so we shut the door.they also had another nest behind the molding on the floor behind the bed.so we went to the office to complain & get out of there. The office manager (a young Indian lady in here mid to late 20s) told us there was nuthing they could do because maintenance dont work weekends & wont be able to spray bug spray til monday. I informed her that they needed an exterminator,the problem is bad&bug spray will only solve it temporarily.So I told her we got bitten by them n showed her the red marks.As I was telling her this i had 1 climbing on my leg &my back. I showed her.She asked what we wanted her to do.we told her either refund our $ or put us in a different room&credit 1 night.she didnt have any vacant rooms.but will not credit a night&will only refund $10.

Customer service is terrible, all I was looking for is the rate of the rooms and how soon one might be available and more or less got told to go screw myself. Somebody should definitely put the office attendant in check. Wish I could rate less than 1 star.
