Beautiful park with well maintained trails. Great for running, walking, and biking. Ample turf for other outdoor activities. There's also a designated dog play area.
Here from out of town to help out daughter and son in law with their dogs. Accidentally found this park. It is terrific for a well behaved pup who can be off leash.open space for ball retrieving and general social play. Owner can get circuit walk in while dog enjoys her freedom. Shade around one edge, plenty of open middle.
Great off leash legal park! There’s also a fenced in section in the back for dogs still working on their recall. Make sure to bring your own water and bowl!
I’ll give two starts because someone was nice enough to think of a dog park, but there’s no place to sit, no water source, no bowls (obviously it doesn’t need to be supplied, but it would be nice it there was a water fountain at least). Plate stating that dogs needed to be on leash inside the dog restricted area... (dumb)
Brand New, Basketball, Hockey, Football Soccer, Kids Park
Park L is a really nice space, tucked in just off the bike trail alongside the Malden River. It was recently built (around 2019, I think) with several athletic fields for soccer, baseball, basketball. It has a Pavillion with picnic tables as well as a play structure. There's a fenced off grassy area where people bring their dogs to run. There are meandering paved paths along the river and wetlands. And, I think there's also a place to launch a boat or canoe. It's pretty easy to get to if you're anywhere along the the Northern Strand Bike to the Sea path in Malden or Everett. If not, there's a ton of parking. It might be a little tricky to find it the first time, but it's definitely a nice, quiet place to enjoy an afternoon in the park.
Well lit park along the Northern Strand community trail just over the Everett line from Malden. Picked up a Blue Bike there to ride home to the Fenway.

A beautiful, well-kept park with something for everyone. Jungle gyms and splash pads are gated to keep kids safe, basketball courts have high fences around them, and the soccer field is also gated.
