Local breakfast gem! If you're looking for a small local eats that feels like small town getaway near the city, this is it. This is one of our favorite spots for breakfast but get there early cause their hours are limited. Most weekend mornings can be pretty busy and expect to wait a little, but again it's definitely worth a wait fir the smothered mountain Kirby.
Had the Philly Omelette. It was exactly what I expected, a delicious hearty rendition of a philly cheese steak in a generous wrapping of eggs. The onions and peppers made it a delectable mouth-watering experience that forced me to slow down and savor every bite. It's only 9:20am and I am already full for the day! Highly recommend for an intimate diner cafe setting.
My family visited on a Saturday morning ~9:30. It is a small place and the only negative I have is that the seating is small. We are 4 larger people and the booth was cramped. We solved that issue by confiscating the next table to split our group. And our server was very gracious about that! For the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. They do not appear to salt & pepper the food, presumably to allow one to season to taste. No problem- there are salt & pepper shakers on the table. My caramel roll was 5-6" in diameter and came with whipped butter. Next time I'll ask them to heat it up first but it was yummy! Our server, Amanda was a ray of sunshine. (They should clone her.) The atmosphere is small town friendly, the food is good and well worth the trip!
Fantastic little cafe in Newport, excellent food & service👌First time visit will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ham Eggs Benedict, hollandaise sauce was lights out! My associate is disabled and they made quick & easy accommodations as well😁I’ll be back
Small town cafe in a small town, when I walked in as a black male the whole place went silent lol, but that was the end of the awkward experience. The waitress was very friendly and helpful in regards to suggestions on the menu. Once I ordered everything came out way faster than expected, maybe like a 10 minute wait. The food was good, but I still have to nitpick some small things. The French toast just needed a little more cinnamon and other flavorings that make French toast. Also the eggs good have been fluffier in my opinion. But nevertheless I was pleased with the meal and would return if I am ever in the area.
Small-town diner vibes to die for, just 10 minutes south of St. Paul. The person who greeted and served me was very warm and sweet. Steak and Eggs with toast and hash browns plus a Diet Pepsi came out to just $18.56. Will be back here for sure!
Small interior, big atmosphere. The staff and food are amazing. Never had a bad meal here. Even getting told my gf was cheating on me didn't ruin how good the Buffalo Chicken tasted.
It was a business lunch and I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and oh my Goodness it was better than what you would get in PA. It was so good and their onion rings are so crispy and crunchy that when you take a bite, you literally take a bite. What I mean is, when you take a bite all the onion part does not come out of the ring. So your s b will still have a piece of onion in it not just the ring. I would include pictures but it was so good I ate it before I could take any. And the pricing is comparable with others. The waitress, I would have given five stars had she not forgotten to bring our drinks, but other than that she was very cheerful and friendly and sarcastic just the way I like it.
Legit. We - my son, his friend, and I ordered it well done. The waitress knew right away the meaning of those words. That was the second good sign. The first good sign was asking around 30 ppl in the twin city area for a recommendation based on my
Although it's most popular for its boat launching spot, it also is a nice place just for walking and enjoying nature right next to the Mississippi River. When I have been here, there are usually not many other people around, so it is a nice place for
